last league matches of the season. any people gunning for promotion or to avoid relegation or a playoff? I've got 2nd place clinched and am playing away to the 3rd place team.

    End of Over 3: 8-1, runrate=2.67
    Rose 2-0-6-1
    Bullivant* 1 (7 balls)
    Nosworthy 6 (9 balls)

they won the toss and decided to bat on a flat pitch, but it is humid and cloudy so it's not 100% batsmen friendly.

I'm locked into 5th. At risk of scotching my morale for the qualifier, I'm playing this one (somewhat) easy, TIE with Seargeant out of the lineup. Posted a low total, so the bowlers are going to have some work to do to defend it -- which usually means I'm doomed :p.

Playing for the league championship and promotion to the Windies Premier. Los Burritos v Carib Beer XI (209333).

Batted first and put up a solid 284. Bowling now: End of Over 20: 105-0, runrate=5.25, reqrunrate=6.00 (284-8). Wick 5-1-12-0
    Beadle* 37 (62 balls)
    Eyre 63 (59 balls)

I'm playing several bowlers defensively (not Wick though) so the runrate is ok but I'd really like to get Eyre out.

Couldn't have planned that over any better. And Lawrence is my worst bowler.

8 wicket win for my squad. thought I would have more trouble with his batsmen on a flat pitch.

Bot crush. I beat the best bot in my series on a GFI (might as well, y'know?) 367-53. I bowled my first wicket on the first ball. Good times.

I took second in the series, losing on NRR by about 2.40. Oh well; the winner should handily crush the team he'll play in his qualifier, thus dumping a creampuff into my series. So it'll be another 2-man series, but the other man might as well be a bot.

Starting to bowl to his bowlers and the wickets are coming fast, might get 10 if I can get Lynch out.

    End of Over 43: 239-7, runrate=5.56, reqrunrate=6.57 (284-8)
    Stevenson 7-0-32-1
    Lynch* 72 (66 balls)
    Higgs 0 (0 balls)

And that's the end of the match. Los Burritos won by 31 runs.
    Los Burritos 284-8
    Carib Beer XI 253-10

Unless I got overtaken in NRR I believe I have a qualy against a bot for promotion. :D

Was hoping for a Robot Holocaust qualifier. But, I autopromoted. Did a TIE on the last weekend for nothing. (I also played a robot this week. Yay, highly favorable schedule.)

The Premier League beckons. I have to think that my Martinique Serpents are a prohibitive favorite. (snrk)
