    real new york (5) - goleadores (7)

if i lose, i still get a qualifier. win, and i might finish above the qualifiers, depending on other results. my opponent needs to beat me and hope the 6th placed team loses. gee, he's got the first two chances on the road. i do believe he's motsing. ;)

play a brand new team. Who happens to be in first place right now. A win by me gives me the series and a qualifier. I'm picing, and already up 1-0.

    Edit: make that 2-0.

We both have 19 points but he's ahead of my on GD for 4th place. I'm playing a 4-5-1 with 2 WTM and a defensive forward to try to get a 0-0 draw and a qualifier next week. 0-0 after 25 minutes but my mag IM playing forward is injured.

58% possession at half time, but losing 0-1 to a corner kick. annoying. i had only one reported chance in the first half but hopefully i'll turn it around in the second as a win could see me finishing as high as second.

6-0 at the half, but the bastard has had 2 guys yellow carded for tackles that have led to 1 guy getting a bandaid and another going out. Hopefully it won't be long term.

0-0 at the half. They have 56% possession. I just realized I messed up and didn't change my set piece taker. I'll be pissed if I win 1-0 on a set piece.

Hell of a season in V.233 ends tonight with either me winning my first series title, or Titan his 2nd.

    Standings before tonight:

    1. Norge Vikings 13 45 - 15 30
    2. Titan FC 13 35 - 15 28
    3. Black Hawks F.C 13 34 - 14 27
    4. Greeley Soro 13 39 - 22 25
    5. KalevKEK 13 38 - 32 21
    6. Pantera 13 33 - 32 21
    7. Osprey FC 13 13 - 65 3
    8. The Ballin Machines 13 13 - 55 0

    Right now at half time:

    KalevKEK 1 - 2 Norge Vikings [Vikings 60%]
    Pantera 1 - 2 Titan FC [Titan 60%]
    Greeley Soro 1 - 1 Black Hawks F.C. [Black Hawk 53%]
The Ballin Machines 2 - 1 Osprey FC [Ballin 53%]

Good, exciting games to finish the season. If I can hold on to win, or just draw, I get the title.

Unlike last season, I enter this match with the series title locked up.

With a 3 - 0 lead and 90% possession at the half, I've got autopromotion locked up too.

I'm up 1-2 against my opponent after the half and have 72% poss. He has much better attack and defense ratings though. Elsewhere in vi.348 the series leader is tied at the half. If he doesn't win and I do, I finish first for the first time.

A straight red to my opponent should now have my game wrapped up.

I am up 4-1 and will get 4th place, one step down from last season. My series is the 20th hardest in DV though. And the series heavyweight who pulls 250 on a regular basis is throwing this match to stay down:mad:

I ended up winning by 4 goals, but I'm still in 2nd. Next season might be mine to go up.

Was only up 2-1 at half time, but my team came out to claim the title and we ran out 6-1 winners.

Titan also won, but it didn't matter. Also Ballin Machines won... is this the biggest gap ever between 6th and 7th place? 21-3? Wow!

    1. Norge Vikings 14 51 - 16 33
    2. Titan FC 14 38 - 16 31
    3. Greeley Soro 14 41 - 23 28
    4. Black Hawks F.C 14 35 - 16 27
    5. KalevKEK 14 39 - 38 21
    6. Pantera 14 34 - 35 21
    7. The Ballin Machines 14 16 - 57 3
    8. Osprey FC 14 15 - 68 3

Beat the #4 team on the road 3-0. 231 hats rating was little low even considering a forward that was red-carded.

Halfway through the season was in 7th place. 7 straight wins since then and I finish in 2nd place on top of advancing to the 6th round of the cup, which was best in the division. Not bad at all for my first season in IV.

Finished the season with the top scorer--Leo Hill put away 17. I also had the least goals conceded, which is entirely because the other teams didn't possess the ball enough to put it away. The table:

    Series: VI.348 (27684)

    Country: USA
    Level: 6 out of 6

    Team Played Goals Points
    1. Team Dagger 14 74 - 20 37

    2. GBsHibs 14 57 - 19 36
    3. Hell'sKitchenCanari 14 63 - 38 25
    4. NY United 14 47 - 28 25
    5. Union Americana 14 48 - 38 25
    6. FC WILDERNESS 14 12 - 53 7
    7. Schnitzel Crazy 14 16 - 60 6
    8. NY Hellhounders 14 3 - 64 4

Hmmm... I haven't got mine yet. And I highly doubt I got an autopromotion because *last week* (when I had 30 points) the promotion line was at:

    128. Jigstors 51 - 6 34
    129. rivendell striders 57 - 14 34

This week I only have 33 points after winning... there is no way I autopromoted.

From the looks of the team the series leader will be playing in the qualification game, my series will be unchanged next season. A good thing, I think, because I think my team is advancing much faster than the others currently with me.

Won 3-1 MOTS after being down 0-1 early, and sold out the building to boot! I finish clear third in my second season. Probably too early to build, so I'll keep on truckin' with what I have. Two weeks of stamina coming up. Oh joy. :p

Congrats on a second consecutive fantastic season.

Maybe we should have a "Bigsoccer Hattrick Team of the Year" - if so, LSD Chicago gets my vote.

    I did it.

*commences Roslindale's supporter song "Up the Tree!"*

Finally conquered my nemesis 2-0 to draw even on points and take the series title and autopromotion! The 161 Hatstats rating was my highest in my brief 2.5 seasons in Hattrick. And for some icing, Rookie FTW trainee Francesco De Giorgi took the series scoring title.

I believe my opponent is among the very few 2nd place teams that would have autopromoted at his final point count and GD.

    1. Roslindale FC 14 79 - 10 (+69) 39
    2. E.J.F.C. 14 61 - 7 (+54) 39
    3. The Dork Army 14 32 - 28 (+4) 22
    4. Verix United 14 23 - 32 (-9) 20
    5. hadera city 14 18 - 37 (-19) 14
    6. Team FRD 14 12 - 42 (-30) 11
    7. Blackfrosting 14 30 - 62 (-32) 11
    8. Lothair 14 20 - 57 (-37) 7

I'm not trusting anything about which series I'm in until I see myself in it.
