Another busy week with 6 games on the schedule: 7/3- Kansas City at Washington 7:30 PM EST 7/3- Boston at Seattle 10 PM EST 7/4- Western New York at Chicago 2 PM EST 7/6- Washington at SkyBlue 7 PM EST 7/6- Boston at Portland 10:30 PM EST 7/7- Western New York at Kansas City 4:10 PM EST Injury report for this week: http://www.nwslsoccer.com/News/734372.html
I was reading in Lowdown that Jordan blamed his firing on Harris' comments and suggested she be fined and sat down. Reality check time. Being the coach of the last place team means u dont need other reasons to get fired. Also, uve helped the Spirit enough...u dont need to be suggesting that the interim coach sit his starting GK down. If management wants to fine her that's one thing, but sitting her only punishes the rest of the team....but thanks for the constructive input.
Not really sure what message Spirit management is trying to send. They cut Wells who was a crafty midfielder. Now theyve cut Hodak who was a tough midfielder. What type of midfielder r they looking for exactly?
I was going to make a peach cobbler for our neighborhood parade/pie fest tomorrow while watching the game. Instead I am standing here hitting refresh umpteen times and drinking wine. Have the 2nd half stream loaded... hopefully we can move on and I can still slice peaches safely.
So, here's the talking ponts: New Spirit coach handled the national anthem ok Seems to be defensive battle. Play by Play...brief and concise. Nice scoreboard
As Ive been crying all season about playing Ochs up top and giving Wlliams a chance I really wanted to watch this one.
"stingiest defense in the league". Nice try, KC Twitter feed. Statistically that honor actually belongs to Portland. KC and WNY are tied for second.
Hey! Your on to something. This game really sucked with the horrible stream. I really have high hopes with the Seattle stream, they have been the best so far this season and Leslie Gallimore is a great color commentator.
