Under the rule changes article, this scenario (aka things that never happen) would now result in a corner kick and not an own goal.

its the first time in my life that i have ever hoped a player WOULD get injured- after reading of the lastest disrespect for MLS/NYCFC and its fans where lampard will be doing tv commenting for the euro games in june- while ridiculously saying it will not interfere with his playing for NYCFC- i have lost all respect for frank and wish him a quick exit from our league- he has already 'defrauded' MLS for well over $ 2 000 000 when not playing in 2015-2016- a player like him only enhances the view that MLS is a ship of fools for taking over-aged players and giving them ridiculous amounts of money for doing so little

DONT NEED HIM, DONT WANT HIM

Ha ha! Well, on the other hand... my cheapskate Revs would never be accused of over paying for older players! I constantly complain about their austere ways but in this case.... Hell yeah! :)

Poor Mikey. By trying to snark on MLS, he only reaffirms his status as the outdated fossil from the 1960s we all know him as . I wonder if Haisley would be gleefully writing this post had it been one of his precious Euro team getting dumped on. The caricature of the anti-soccer curmudgeon and the anti-MLS troll all rolled into one article.

You have obviously never played soccer in Rexburg or Idaho Falls, Idaho. :)

I dont' know what to think of Dirk Kuyt. He's about to turn 36, but he just scored 20 goals this year in the Netherlands. So he appears to still have something in the tank.

i'm not a francesa fan. but the man is still quite influential and widely revered. of course he's also a jerk, but that puts him at the head of a very large army.
