I just spent a week wandering around Puerto Rico and talking to locals. If there's any interest at all in soccer on that island I was unable to find it. There are well-maintained baseball fields everywhere. My hotel in San Juan had a couple of baseball teams staying there. There does seem to be an appreciation for basketball and it was on the tube in restaurants but if I was Carmelo, I'd save my money.

I still vividly remember Seattle's opener against New York Red Bulls, when Fredy Montero scored twice (poor Mike Petke) and Brad Evans once. The excitement as the players walked onto the pitch for the first time, the buzz in the stadium - what a great experience. Atlanta's opener is something you'll not forget.
I am not laughing at the Beckham's here. What I do find funny the gossip rags are reporting it on their front page. It's absurd that they are reporting this when it's none of our business. I wish the couple well with trying to keep their relationship in tact. It's always sad when divorces happen.
