I didn't recognize the reference so I went to read up on Jamie Ding. Who is Jamie Ding? Ding is a 2009 graduate of Grosse Pointe North High School. There, he was an honor student, a National AP Scholar and placed highly in the National Academic Quiz Tournaments' high school championship, according to the Grosse Pointe News. He's on a streak of 17 consecutive wins on "Jeopardy," with earnings totaling more than $500K; both marks place him in the top 10 all-time. Current host Ken Jennings is the most successful champion of all time, with a streak of 74 consecutive wins in 2004. Additionally, I'm always pleased to see a reference to Grosse Pointe, because of my affinity to the movie "Grosse Pointe Blank".
Don Bosco Football Club de Pétion-Ville is a pro club based in Pétion-Ville, Haiti. The club currently competes in the Ligue Haïtienne, or the top tier of Haitian football. Former NASL player for the San Diego Sockers, Emmanuel Sanon started his career with them. RIP!

LAFC was impressive last night but not giving up goals to the current CCC champion much like they have in the current MLS season is what stood out to me. Now can they score a goal in Mexico is the next thing to cross our the list and win the series.
Unless you are watching what Bruce has done in the past as his second season with a team is usually when teams start to get his system. At the beginning of the season he said they would get better through subtraction. Sounds like he knew what he was talking about.
The video shows it only once. It looks like a dive (and it is one), but no additional angles are shown to illustrate it. I read recently that dives are not reviewable unless they relate to another qualifying reason for review -- red cards or penalty kick decisions, etc. I would love to see dives make it onto the list of reviewable plays and one day in my lifetime to see the culture shift away from celebrating this bullshit.
I watched the game and I liked the 20-year-old, David Martinez. I didn't realize Son hadn't scored all season until last night. He looked good as well. CONCACAF Champions Cup: LAFC grab big edge on Cruz Azul
Martinez had two goals that were incredible, no doubt. The fact that they win without Danny Bouanga banging one in is also astonishing. It seemed they weren't going to let Bouanga beat them but with that space open Martinez took advantage. The second goal as he's headed towards goal it looked like the defender thought he was going to pass it to Bouanga but he took advantage of that space and scored a terrific goal. . Even at the end of the game I kept thinking they would give up an away goal but they got another clean sheet. Evidently this new format for CCC is doing quite well for the Spanish speaking media outlets. TelevisaUnivision reported they have grown revenue over 50% since they switched formats. Haven't seen any information about fox but getting switched to FS2 can't be good.
Admit it, @Beerking, based on your commentary prior to the season, YOU did not see that coming! Good luck to them.
