They should have went with the Kicks because that United name is getting too much usage. Maybe they can start a tournament of MLS Teams called United?

instead of the Heritage Cup , name it the United trophy!

MLS teams using United in the order they started using United:

    1: D.C. United
    2. Minnesota United (for several NASL seasons before MLS)
    3. Atlanta United

Besides, if the Southeastern Conference can handle 3 Tigers and 2 Bulldogs, MLS can handle 3 Uniteds.

Just sounds too wannabe Euro/British to me. So sick of them trying to emulate the Euro snobs for a North American league.

I thought some of those old NASL & MISL names and logos were kind of cool.

I'm with you, though I would prefer it to be tornadoes, plural. Some of the early MLS names were too much, but not all. Personally, I think Fire and Earthquakes fans would agree that there should be more natural disaster names in the league.

Anything was better than What a Burn What a Cut!

How did they ever come up with a Burned Horse?

Of course you can get the Fire department's Crew which belongs to a Union to come in provide an Impact and take care of the City and Republic..as long as they all don't start a Revolution.....

I used to dislike the 'Washington Diplomats' name, but that name has been growing on me lately (better than the Whips/Darts). Still can't get passed the logo however.
