@Stuart95 once again that you for posting these articles every day. Here is an article in today's Philadelphia Inquirer about Josh Gros, the Union's head of Operations since day 1 ( that is 15 years.) It talks about the changes over the last 15 years in the way MLS teams (and particularly a cheap team like the Union) operate. For example, the move from flying commercial to charter flights is a huge improvement for the players health. I had never thought about another implication - lost luggage. Josh Gros has lots of stories

I sat with Barra Brava for a decade because they treated me like a soccer fan, as they did all the DC United supporters in the early days. It’s sad to read this. Thx, Jay!
Max Bretos called him the Mechanic. He was a key to making DC’s lopsided 3-5-2 work so well in 2006 and 2007. He was the right wingback and Freddy was the left wingback and it played like a 4-4-3, yep, I know that’s one too many but that’s how it played. Josh dropped back into a back 4 without the ball, and Freddy went forward with the strikers to make it a 3 forward attack. That was a fun team to watch, back to back Shield winners.
https://www.espn.com/espn/story/_/id/45146159/republican-tax-bill-sports-team-owners It’s an article about how the current proposed tax bill affects sports owners. The key point is that for about 20 years, owners have been allowed to depreciate intangible assets, which means he can cover a lot of profits from the team, or some other business, and use the team as an excellent tax shelter. The bill proposes to cut that to 50%. It would affect franchise values in a negative way.
Is Atlantic City Football Club back in the NPSL? I thought they’d made the jump to the ridiculously named The League for Clubs.
