Sibon get a free kick to deflect off wall for corner

VB takes it, but foul called on Sibon hitting Lehmann

PSV playing pretty high in def. And twice already Henry has gotten behind, but not in on goal. One awkward flick-on closer than first seemed, but nothing too dangerous yet on either end.

7' long ball in to Sibon.

    Nice knock down to Farfan.
His strong shot blocked out for corner

    Goal Ooijer on the corner!

Sleepy marking on defense for Arsenal.

Unspectacular run to near corner, and strong header to goal.

    1-0 PSV

1-0 to PSV-- Ooijer scores, in the eighth minute.

Thank goodness for the "cheering" signal on UEFA.com's site, when I've got the matchtracker loaded. :)

That, and I actually have money on PSV today...

guess Cocu was right in what he said before the game...

And Arsenal Wenger was, well a Wenger.

Lot's of midfield play now. Arsenal are looking to play-in Henry. Offside once already. Still PSV playing pretty high. Arsenal with most of the ball, seem to have awakened. PSV on the counter.

Corner cleared, brought back in but Cocu fouls in the box for free-kick.

Lehmann sends it to the other end.

Unreal. Obviously the Beasley tactical switch has totally befuddled the Gunners into succumbing the early goal...Again, advantage USA :D

Now here's hoping for a quick 2nd (don't care how it comes)...a packed in D (let Arsenal exhaust themselves...throw it all forward) and DeBeas coming on for last 30 to run at a tired D with gaps...

One of these days, Arsenal is going to break out big time during a Euro game..hope it isn't today..

PSV working mostly down the left through Farfan. The first time they cut back the other way, they lose it.

Play has evened out after some initial post-goal urgency by Arsenal.

20' Counter by Pires and Cole leades to free kick from left wing, Pires.

    Taken by goalie Gomes easily
