Let's not forget about UFC's little brother, WEC. They're back on Wednesday night with three title matches and what looks to be a pretty stacked show: Live Matches: Welterweight Title: Carlos Condit (c) vs. Carlo Prater Lightweight Title: Razor Rob McCullough (c) vs. Jamie Varner Bantamweight Title: Chase Beebe (c) vs. Miguel Torres Manny Tapia vs. Antonio Banuelos Taped Matches: Scott Jorgensen vs. Damacio Page Josh Gripsi vs. Mark Hominick Charlie Valencia vs. Yoshiro Maeda Hiroyuki Takaya vs. Leonard Garcia Micah Miller vs. Chance Farrar Del Hawkins vs. Ox Wheeler Jens Pulver vs. Urijah Faber is probably being saved for April or May. In any event, it's worth it to find Versus on your channel list - these shows are always fun with a lot of guys trying to prove themselves.
I didn't even find out about this until over the weekend. Looking forward to watching this good fight card. And didn't Faber and Pulver fight at some point in the past few months?
Nope - they've been kept apart to build as the main for a big show. Anyone catch this one, though? Really fun show as always with some nice finishes.
Yeah I caught it. Torres' ground game is sick! Condit looked good too, although he would need to drop to 155 to compete in the UFC. It was the second time I've seen Razor Rob fight and I haven't been real impressed either time. He took a beating the other night. And I love seeing the pundits ranked guys catching a beat down(Takaya).
