Speaking for those of us that can't easily hitchhike to White Hart Lane (through Iceland, of course), it would be great if there was an English-language webcast of the game (and for the CD Aquila match for that matter). Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any mention of any kind of broadcast of the friendly on the Spurs site. Anyone heard/found anything? Any chance that DCU will send TR to London to do a pbp or that WACA will pick it up and resume webcasting again)? Anything would be better than nothing.
HAHA HAHA HA AHAA AHAHAHAHAHAhAH A hahhahahhha You're kidding, right? We can't even get our domestic league games broadcast, unless we are traveling to a club who DOES webcast their own team's games. I doubt Spurs will even bother to webcast the match. It's not like it is their real team, or anything (Klinsmann, Hoddle, et al).
This is probably way off topic, but does anyone know if the channel "EuroSport" is available on any system (satelite, cable, webcast, etc.) here in the NoVa or DC area? Thanks, -Tron
Wow, it's a tough crowd tonite. I guess I should have put the [sarcasm][/sarcasm] marks on the second part to make it more obvious. Spurs have done a pretty good job of webcasting their matches (both league and otherwise), and they're playing the Hoddle/Klinsmann thing up quite a bit, so hopefully it's not completely out of the question that they might pick it up. And, if not, maybe someone could just stick a microphone on Ray and we could find some way to listen to his colorful comments from the sidelines for 90+ minutes
If anyone knows this it's going to be Warren Van Orden (that's his BS username too). He's the guy that runs http://www.socceraudio.com . You can contact him via this page ... https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/member.php?s=&action=getinfo&userid=7569
Since for the most part oursite consolidates a lot of information that is sent mostly by other users, we have no way of confirming the status of any particular match. I would speculate that the chance of DC sending anyone is near zero, and that the chance of the Spurs mounting a webcast is in the range of 20%. What I suggest, at match time, is you go to the following point on our site which provides a "Listen Live" button to connect to their regular feeds, and to the club website, in case they have a one-off link. http://www.socceraudio.com/england.htm#TOTTENHAM Good luck
