Colorado v Dallas Rapids feed thru 1510 AM KNRC no english webcast for the Burn Los Angeles v Kansas City no english webcast for either team Columbus v San Jose Crew feed through 103.9 FM WEGE "the Eagle" Earthquakes matchtracker Chicago v New England Fire feed thru 1280 AM WBIG no english webcast for the Revolution All webcast information was found via www.socceraudio.com. I know that WBIG and the Eagle will definitely be covering all the playoff games of their respective teams, but I am not sure about KNRC. I believe they are all for windows media player and I can also inform you that the WBIG feed will take a bit to load, but that it should. When it is almost done, it will ask you if you are male/female and what year you were born... nothing more. For those without the ShootOut and unable to attend every match, you may find these links to be very useful. Let the quest for the Cup begin. -jim
On their season finale KNRC announced that they would cover the HOME matches of the Rapids only. Hopefully, since the station is also owned by Anschultz, there might be some last minute pressure, but don't count on it! I'll have the schedule up for the matches within the hour, the Spanish and Polish links are on the site too. Enjoy
thanks for the news on the rapids... that is a bit disappointing, i had been hoping that we could count on them for more... at least they will be doing some though
That's true, KNRC will only cover HOME Rapids games, so there will be no audio. In Denver it will only be on Spanish Radio on 1150am or on TV Cable Channel 21.
Does some wonderful human being want to earn the respect and admiration of thousands of soccer fans by doing Burn-Rapids PbP in the chat room? It would be greatly appreciated.
for tomorrow's games, only the Fire-Revolution game will have english radio unless someone has heard otherwise... and i haven't... so post here if you have -jim
I tell you what. People may complain about not having the playoffs on TV, but not having them on radio is even more pathetic. Not that I can pick up any of the games outside of the web. Then again, I guess that's what we get with the FCC allowing all the media consolidation.
Well. I guess the improvements that Warp Radio has done haven't made it over to the Mac miniverse. And here I was looking forward to actually experiencing at least a little of one of the games tonight
Semi-Finals Colorado v Los Angeles Rapids feed thru 1510 AM KNRC no english webcast for the Galaxy Columbus v New England Crew feed through 103.9 FM WEGE "the Eagle" no english webcast for the Revolution All webcast information was found via www.socceraudio.com. I had no problem connecting to the Crew feed, although the audio was a bit more distorted that usual for Crew streams. How did you determine "Most people"? If you have any interest in hearing what you missed (it was narrated by Jack Edwards) I have added a link to an MP3 of the coverage on the site. http://www.socceraudio.com/
if anyone has forgotten, there will be a live national over the air broadcast and webcast of the mls cup final in case you aren't at the game or aren't at a tv http://www.sportsbyline.com/mlscup_promo.htm listen live -jim
BOTH games will have an english webcast today i would imagine that both games will also be on the shootout, as the custom, i imagine that there will be a decent amount of people in the BS chatroom for this game... if you have problems with the webcast or getting the shoot-out i know that last time i used the rapids webcast, i had problems... but i have never had a problem with the crew webcast -jim
Re: Semi-Finals thanks ALOT for this info.... i haven't been able to see or listen to a single Gs game all postseason.... damn you pittsburgh cable company!
