Bad news... Five Live may not work after all. :(

Mentioned this on another related thread, but the audio stream may cut out after five minutes, due to legal obligations that the BBC has on its website (such as with rights, and the like).

Was just listening to Scotland v Lithuania on Five Live's audio webcast stream, and that just happened to me. Not saying it's certain to happen for England v Turkey, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did.

Was looking at options recommended by www.socceraudio.com earlier, as mentioned above, and that site said that fans should try Capital Gold as well. Unfortunately, I don't have a link handy for that. I'm sure that socceraudio.com will.

Culling options from another thread, it looks like your new best bets lie with either www.capitalgold.com and/or www.talksport.co.uk.

Capital Gold's coverage starts at 1400 hours BST, with kickoff at 1500 hrs.

The Scotland-Lithuania match is on Radio Scotland at the moment, FWIW.

I'm not sure what the online set-up is but if it mirrors what they put out over the normal air-waves (and what they're allowed to put out) - then radio5 are commentatiing on it in the UK.
Like I said, if they do exactly the same online then everything's fine.
I can't get to see it so the radio is the best bet.

edit - Just had a look.
    http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/internationals/england/3183302.stm

Look under the picture - apparently it's live on the radio and on the website (though that might mean a webcast).

    Further edit - http://www0.bbc.co.uk/fivelive/sport/commentaries.shtml

    Apparently it is available online.

Five live has it, They're playing the Turkish anthem now.

They've already mentioned that it's a shame the "English boys" can't here their anthem sang.

    *slaps head*

That is not what I need because my computer is telling me it is not supporting it. Don't know if it is because I don't have real player.

My question is will it be on five live sports extra because all they are dong right now is doing a commerical thing over and over.

England are through. Beckham slips taking a PK, but they are through. The Turks are hacks...the team and their fans. Great skill, but have to reosrtt to thuggery. Did the same thing to the US at the Confed Cup. I hope the Turks lose both matches in the playoffs.
