All right, you all convinced me that my logic is...illogical. I retrieved the signs from the bins and brought them into the sunroom, where a couple of my daughter's friends are watching the Sharks play L.A. (Sharks currently losing 4-2).

Whether or not we have our own team playing at home, we can still hate L.A.

    Peabody here,

setting the wayback machine to the year 1980, when the NASL San Jose Earthquakes briefly changed their colors to red blue and white to match the star-studded NASL ball (the ball in the logo also changed color to match the league's ball). Recall that the home kit was white and, indeed, was made by adidas.

Hey, logic has nothing to do with it; it's all based on emotion.

On Black Friday, a friend asked if I needed support while I took down my Quakes Gear in my classroom. I had been flirting with the idea all morning, but until she asked...I couldn't decide what to do. I'm happy to report that I turned down her offer. Everything stays!

People! Everything happens for a reason! The Quakes are gone for good, because a new team is rising in the Bay Area. This team will soon grow to be America's best. Let's all welcome the San Jose Frogs!

Herr Fuhrer, if you really want to get Quakes fans to support your Frogs maybe you shouldn't talk smack about the Quakes, especially this soon after losing the team.

I can't imagine that the kid has anything at all to do with the San Jose Frogs. His user name - evoking Adolf Hitler and the Nazis - says it all. Why would the Frogs want that kind of publicity?

I don't know why I'm wasting time responding to a pathetic troll like "Teutonic Fuhrer", but yeah, in case it's not already obvious, he's just trying to use the Frogs as a source of ridicule (as in "It's OK you lost the Quakes, you have the Frogs, bwahahahaha").

Everywhere and Nowhere.....I'm the wind, baby.
Trying to troll in an untrolling manner...

This is what happens when schools let out for the holidays...

Next week, he'll be gone. However, I must give credit: not every 5th grader could come up with the word "Teutonic"....my goodness. He must have spent days in a dictionary looking for it.

Is there anyway the mods can have his handle changed to "Teutonic Twat"? I think that would be much more appropriate.

Apparently, his dad's back at work and his mom's taking the tree down, so he's got some free unsurpervised time on his hands.........

....speaking of hands, at least he's staying away from the porn sites.

    Wee Man,
Please email me at nedz@mindspring.com. I would like to get some information from you relating to your presentation at the City Council meeting about the benefits of foreign clubs coming to a local stadium.
    Thank you,
    Ned

    Yes.
    Yes.
    I doubt it.
    Yes.

And one more question, can we have Wee Man back on the earthquakes staff?
