that hippie can't help, salary cap is too low - and we already have 3 keepers ;)

The blogpost after that with Kasper was the better collection of news, made me smile all the way around.

Hallelujah! I think I'll wear one of my three Namoff game-worn jerseys in his honor at school tomorrow!

I heard a rumor that he was switching to number 46, making my DCU tag relevant for the first time :)

I'm still waiting for Jaime to switch back to #9 so mine will be relevant again.

According to Wikipedia number 9 is Walter Martinez's number on Beijing Guoan ;)

I thought Earnie wore #8? My wife has one of his long-sleeve warmups.

Made my day to see that Bryan is signed. Even if I am a day late. Glad to know he will be patrolling the back line again for us.

    Re: We resigned Namoff!

Stoichkov wore #8 during Earnie's first year, so #9 was used since it was available. After Stoichkov left, Earnie went back to his familiar #8, for his second and final season with United.

Did anyone onestly think that he wouldn't re-sign? It's not like there was a list of teams being named as potential suitors or that Goff was reporting some major blow-up over contract details. This seemed like one of those inevitable signings that just takes a while (like Moreno last year).
