We need a name for all us Wizads Fanatics. Any suggestions. We kinda have our own fan club and a club needs a name. Maybe someone could set up a way to buy t-shirts for club members for the Wizards games
How about something related to "Wizards". That's it! We could call ourselves Mystics. Hey, I kinda like the sound of that.
Okay. I'll play nice for the newbie. The Mystics (not to be confused with the Kansas City Mystics or the Washington Mystics) have existed for 7 years. They arrange road trips, make T-shirts, scarves, pins, and even have helped start a couple of soccer fanzines. (The long missed The Lair, and the current Emerald City Gazette). If you have actually been to Arrowhead for a game, I'm sure you are aware of The Cauldron, which contains a bunch of loud fans who stand and sing for the entire game, and if the Wizards score, the even raise a blue and white checkered banner overhead. That's where the Mystics can be found. They also sponsor a tailgate before almost every game, as well as away game watch parties in Kansas City and maybe even Lawrence. Hello....ever go to the games? Ever pay attention to all those fans standing and singing? Ever notice that they sing over the speakers? Ever notice that they are advertised over the JumboTron? Thats the Mystics. (Tailgate in lot B5, set in section 114)
