actually....in the scrimmage vs. the rhinos....clark looked really good....kind of like a villegas, but thinks and passes...

magee on the otherhand....kept slowing up our counters and seemed to get pushed off the ball easily.....i thought he'd be a bit quicker....but then again.....its early....and what the hell do i know...

Ricardo Clark, Rookie of the Year, if only for the fact that he will be seeing alot of early minutes....

Still not sold on Casey Schmidt, good player, but I am just not convinced that he will tear up this league.

Same goes for Magee... Bob is through choice or necessity going to give the young guys a lot of minutes this year, and if they have any success at all they're a good bet for rookie of the year.

Is the rookie of the year voted on by coaches?I think Magee has an advantage because he's more likely to score goals and therefore should have a higher profile.

Not necessarily, Brad Davis led all rookies in scoring last year and Kyle Martino won it. and before Faria won it for leading rookies in scoring, Bocanegra won it.
