Re: We have a player who can score a PK TV showed Thornton trying to communicate with the bench before the kick. He mouthed "left or right?" repeatedly. Looks like the bench guessed right, but Rozental used the right combination of power and placing.
Re: We have a player who can score a PK yeah I saw this too, and was just waiting for Zak to go "Right? OK" with a big thumbs up and just tell everyone where he was going to go before the kick. I don't think I've seen a GK do this before a penalty before in MLS. Is this common, uncommon, or just something I've completely missed in the past?
Re: We have a player who can score a PK I looked at this as a ploy to fake the shooter out. Yes, the bench told me to go right; or did they? Am I going right because the whole stadium saw the signal to go right, or am I going left thinking a weak-a$$ed shot is going that way instead? Thank God we had a professional take the shot.
