We get MLS Cup 2005, right?

i would guess that we will probably get mls cup 2006 but you could be right

 

I think what the league has said is that we would get either the All-Star Game or the MLS Cup.

If next year is the year that they bring in Real . . . I'll take that All-Star Game!

 

I agree - it makes sense. But what they have always said was either. I think part of that was they weren't sure if there was going to be another stadium up and running. Now we know that isn't going to happen since neither Colorado nor New Jersey are going to be ready in time, but that only happened recently.

 

if our stadium is ready in time we should definately get one of the two if la and columbus did I guess im just used to the all star games in other sports going to stadiums 3 or 4 years after they are built

 

You would for sure if Sepp Blatter was running the show.

 

It might depend how attendance does early in the year. No offense intended, but empty seats in the final doesn't look great. Probably won't be a problem. All-star game against a MFL team ought to do really well in Dallas.

 

Columbus got MLS Cup in 2001 and the All-Star game in 2000.

 

IIRC the Burn will get BOTH an All-Star game AND a MLS Cup.

 

I believe GE said MLS Cup 2006 is what it's looking like. i don't recall hearing about the All-Star game during tha conversation.
