    OR!

"I think he touch me, the ref give no penalty, I don't know why!" :p

When I heard him say that bold part, I get hysterical! It sounds funny!

I think C.Ronaldo's a lock for POTY this season, win or lose. It would be nice to see him win the Premiership and CL final. It's gonna be tough, especially the CL. Drogba is playing great, as is Ballack. Lampard, Terry, Carvalho, Essien, and Cech are consistently good, at the very least. And, even players like Anelka and Malouda have finally stepped it up when it counts.

In terms of 'on paper' I would venture to say, if all players brought their 'A' game, the edge would go slightly to Chelsea. Drogba > Rooney, Lampard/Ballack > Scholes/Carrick or Hargy, Terry/Carvalho > Ferdinand/Brown or Vidic, Cech > Van Der Saar. I would take Tevez, Ronaldo, Evra over Anelka, Malouda/J.Cole, and A.Cole though. In terms of coaching/tactics/confidence, that edge goes to ManU. Still very close, may the best team WIN.

I guess when I said post here only when necessary you all heard "Post dumb Ronaldo Titles", I got a good simple classy one waiting for the 7th edition but It would be much nicer (and only make sense after the CL final) but I suppose a new is going to have to open sooner then that with all the posts that are going to come in following the Wigan game :(

Anyway in order for you all to have a place to talk about Ronaldo and other Portuguese players in the CL final here you go: https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?p=14542673#post14542673

Got to disagree whole-heartedly with that. He needs to win the CL and definitely a WC before he comes close to those 2.

Well I have to say I missed the first half of the game cuz I didn't know it would be televised (who knows when THE SCORE televises these things).I caught all of the second half and all I have to say is that Ronaldo PISSED me off.He gave the ball away about three times because he totally stopped playing to look at the referee and cry, this resulted in two counter attacks for wigan which could've proved VERY costly. This has been going on for awhile now and I think Ferguson should've fixed this problem awhile's back.If he pulls this crap at the Euro's it could very well knock us out of the tournament( knock on wood it doesn't happen) but you can't expect the ref to agree with you on every single call, therefore I have to admit if he wasn't Portuguese I would probably despise him for that, oh well he is (thank god):pbut seriously this has to stop:mad:
PS Congrats Ronny on an AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZING season!!!!!

    Congratulations to the kid.

But anyone a little concerned how he has changed his style on the PK's. He doesn't do the stop and go anymore. I felt more comfortable when he did the stop and go.

You have to always mix it up, because the stop and go; if that's all you ever do will eventually become predictable in the way your body movements and eye contact are seen by the keeper. It's better to keep the keeper guessing, sometimes he slams it, sometimes he second takes, sometimes he slots it in the corner slowly. It's all about having a good combination, it's a lot like pitching in baseball, you can't always through the fast ball or the hitter's going to know exactly what to expect and improve his own chances of hitting the ball at the best condition. Same applies to PKs.

    Perhaps.

I look at the PK sort of like a foul shot in basketball. You have a routine and should stick by it. Simao has always used the stop and go and I think he is one of the best PK takers playing the game.

Only problem with that analogy is there is nothing to represent the goalkeeper, nothing to try and predict your moves.
