Memphis arrives in Barcelona 🔵🔴pic.twitter.com/VFxxFWeuZI(🎥 @FCBarcelona)— CBS Sports Golazo ⚽️ (@CBSSportsGolazo) July 19, 2021 Memphis's suit game is strong. More to the point though: curious as to where Barca are in terms of registering their new players.
By its previous standards, this is a poor Barca kit. Same goes with Inter frankly. Already big to have lost Pirelli as their sponsor but this season's design is just mediocre at best...
frankenstein kits seem to be the thing this season. chelsea also have one. not a fan of any of them but Inter's is the best so far. certainly the only tolerable one

Everton signed Andros Townsend and Demarai Gray. not sure why other than they were free or essentially free due to contract situations. i don't think either of them push Everton any closer to where they would like to be
A good piece of business here from Arsenal at least. 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: Emile Smith Rowe has signed a new long-term contract with Arsenal ✍️— Sky Sports News (@SkySportsNews) July 22, 2021
Tottenham have an agreement on personal terms with Argentinian centre back Cristian Romero until June 2026. It’s not true that the player is refusing Spurs. ⚪️🇦🇷 #THFCTottenham and Atalanta are now negotiating on the fee - still no agreement reached, talks on.— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) July 22, 2021 Much needed (and not a bad) signing for them, provided Tottenham and Atalanta can reach an agreement.
There are some talk going around that Villa are interested in Leon Bailey. Not exactly sure to which extent but if they were to close on him, they could be looking at a frontline of: Grealish, Buendia, Bailey supporting Watkins (with Traore and El Ghazi as options off the bench). Have to like how they've gone about their business in recent years. Last year, they looked to be on course to secure a European spot and it's Grealish's injury that actually derailed them. Definitely looking to take the next step now, especially if they can tie down Grealish with an improved contract. Was talk of them going after Ward-Prowse earlier in the summer as well: they already were a team to watch and that will only confirm their status as serious contenders for an EL spot at minimum. From that perspective, AY is not a bad acquisition at all on their part either.
🚨Info @RMCsport : Mauricio #Pochettino prolonge jusqu’en 2023 au Paris Saint Germain ! Le coach veut s’inscrire dans la durée avec Paris. #PSG— Mohamed Bouhafsi (@mohamedbouhafsi) July 23, 2021 Poch has extended his contract with PSG until 2023. No surprise here: he's got a Rolls-Royce of a team to manage now. Can he get it done and take them to the Promised Land (CL)?

🚨 NEW: Tottenham have agreed a deal for Toby Alderweireld to join Al-Duhail in Qatar for €13m. The deal is subject to agreeing personal terms and flying to Qatar to complete a medical. [Telegraph] pic.twitter.com/PTeV6ewTN4— The Spurs Web (@thespursweb) July 24, 2021 Age 32 and linked to us a few years back. Shows how Chiellini and Bonucci are very much outliers in terms of CBs performing at the top going deeper into 30s.

18 year old Ricardo Pepi is on a hot streak lately. Scored the first hat-trick of his professional career as Dallas demolished the Galaxy. Definitely one to keep an eye on for US fans.

When Man City won their appeal at CAS last summer to have their 2-year CL ban overturned, like most people I thought that would be the end of their FFP tribulations. A shortish thread.1/n— Nick Harris (@sportingintel) July 24, 2021 Don't expect much to come out of this unfortunately (it's barely being reported even as of yet, after all) but still makes for an interesting (and revealing) read.
