Nobody likes us and we don't care. With a nod towards Millwall FC, it is time we adopt their attitude. The League will never consider us a destination for the more marketable players and therefore we will forever be of little significance to the powers that be. We are the Washington Generals to the Harlem Globetrotters that populate the remainder of MLS.

Benefits to us will never coincide with the "good of the league," therefore we should always expect to be denied success by hook or crook. They'll rub our face in it too, with proclamations from New York in our name telling everybody how much we enjoy being bent over in the shower room for the good of the League. While fans from other sides will express shock at our ingratitude for not appreciating the lubricant sometimes used.

A packed Frisco will not change this. Freddy Adu's more talented, younger cousin playing in the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce will not change it. Vague pronouncements of help via allocations will not change it.

It is time we stop bitching and moaning, because it won't help. The League will give us nothing, so we will have to take it! That means winning. That means not screwing around with our draft picks. That means playing a style that might not be popular but will win us matches. That means making the Cotton Bowl and Frisco in the future an unfriendly place for opponents and their fans. The biggest "F You" to suits like Garber and all the patronizing fans of the other MLS sides is to win. How we go about it doesn't matter.

So, let's stop crying and start building a team that will give the rest of the League a sh!t sandwich.

Take up Millwall's style? Why not Wolves and start the Dallas version of the Wolves' Subway Gang? Oh well, I like that idea which is why if Adu makes the traveling squad to Dallas, he is going to hear a bunch of crap from me. I'm working on a poster which I hope someone *cough* gotyourback *cough* will blow up. Besides there is only one Freddie. In case you are wondering who I am talking about, here is a song about him...

Freddie Ljungberg, you dyed your bonet red, you come from Sweden, but you are a Gooner born and breed!

If you watched the 2003 MLS Cup final today, you'd know that there are no guarantees on any given day. The Fire couldn't put in the easiest of goals and basically didn't even show up for the game. And, on top of this anticlamactic mismatch, the shadows at HDC were more annoying than the black end-zones at Dragon. 27,000 sellout? Compared to the 61,000+ the year before at Foxboro, this is an embarassment to the league. At least they could've played the game at night so there were no shadows.

The result today showed me that Dir really was a good coach. Nothing is a 'given' in this league, so why not just give Clarke a one-year deal and take it from year-to-year.

Who the hell really knows what will happen anyway.

    Well said Texan.

HDC could only announce a 27,000 sellout because that's all they can sit. What did you want them to do, sell outside viewing only tickets?

I'm sure everyone wishes they could play the game at night. Unfortunately ABC dictates at what time they play. ABC with shadows or ESPN2 with no shadows. I'm sure the league sponsors prefer ABC with shadows.

Please do not mention the Wolves on this website as it makes me feel physically sick, the Subway Army mentioned on here are a bunch of inbred rednecks who need eliminating.

Well I know nothing about WBA and the Wolves with their hatred towards each other. Plus I remember seeing them and Millwall mentioned in a BBC International Hooligan documentry. Only reason for refrence to them.

All the West Midlands clubs hate each other. So, if we adopt WBA as our sister club, I guess we'll have to hate Aston Villa, Birmingham, Wolves and Walsall. Kinda a big task considering we have trouble figuring out who we hate after Chicago. ;)

even if Houston joins it is still a hell of a long journey to your rivals, i am surrounded by Aston
Villa, Birmingham and the Wolves and believe me any match against them is volatile as we all live in the same area with approx 10 miles between all of us.
A derby game is awesome it cannot be beaten, local pride, bragging rights at work and telling your inbred cousins who support one of the above rivals how they are a disgrace to the family.
Mind you rivalry does not have to be local, England and Turkey has developed into a hate match.
Personally i hate no club apart from the Wolves who i hate with passion.
Who are the main hate rivals for the USA national squad?, at a guess i would say Mexico or maybe Canada.
Mind you to be honest i think most nations hate England in football terms but as above
No-one likes us we dont care lol.

Almost entirely Mexico. After them probably some of the Central American countries we battle for WC spots with and who treat our boys very poorly during away matches down there. Canada is too irrelevant to get worked up over.
