There's a lot of World Cup Qualifier games this Saturday (Sep. 5th)
that we could get together to watch.
Here's a calendar showing some of the games that are gonna be on (The ones from South America are not shown)

One of the best games on Saturday is gonna be Argentina-Brazil (DirecTV PPV = $35 , I think at 8:30pm) especially since they are playing in Argentina and Argentina is struggling to secure a spot in the 2010WC.

Should we get together and watch a game on Saturday?

Probably the best bet, is to look into a smaller place (like Boomerjack's) and tell 'em you've got 10-20 (or however many you can "guarantee") people coming to watch the match ... otherwise it's going to have to be a house party with this weekend.

I'm so bad with time zone stuff, but I was thinking Brazil Argentina was 7:30 our time? And maybe I'm just cheap, but that seems like a lot to pay for one game... I have never done that before though I do have direct tv; does anyone know what the quality of those games is? I am looking forward to the Spain Belgium at 3:00 I think. Will have to record though because we have a soccer game at 4.

The Brazil-Argentina game is just 1 out of many games that are gonna be on tomorrow.

I'm fine with watching any game anywhere (a bar would be better)
what matters is getting together and watching a game.
BTW, the US-El Salvador game (7pm) is right before Mexico-CostaRica (9pm)

Since you asked about the quality of the Brazil-Argentina games...
here's a page that has highlights of their last few games

Thanks for the link on the game quality. I have often wondered but have never watched one before.

It is wonderful to get to watch a game with people that have the same passion about it as you do. I hope ya'll are able to meet up somewhere.
