Monterrey sortof a protagonist in these callups nowadays, eh?

Nice to see sum of our boys being considered - though I seriously think Jonathan Orozco deserves the GK spot over Talavera and ARGUABLY Corona.
...Dunno 'bout Ochoa. Not a fan of L'Ligue EAHN.

Mexico NT arrives in El salvador tomorrow. Pretty sure El Cusca is a sell out. Our defense better be ready, Mexico will come out full blast.

^ Drama that mx media loves to start. They love making us look like "thugs" just because we are trying to make a atmosphere that makes it really hard for them to play in. I guess they want us to recieve them with rose petals and hearts and kisses.....

Hard to tell our coach always keeps that to himself until game day. The last starting lineup against the Tico's was

Villalobos, García, Purdy, Turcios, Pacheco, Dennis, Ramón, I. Gutiérrez, Jaime Alas, Osael, Burgos

    They played a 4-5-1

question : it seems mexico is going to start two forwards and 4-4-1-1 lineup ... do you guys think ES should assigned defenders... For chicharito , i will like D. Alas to play the glue to him... i never seen chicharito out speed anyone so im sure he has average speed. For Santos , Turcios will be idea for him... speed kills. Purdy should be able to cover the high corners ... the wings that worry me...

Barrera is not playing well but he can use the right side , to overmatch the wing...

Salcido... i believe they move their CB to the front... ... D Alas again ? and have Garcia guard chicharito ?

    good game for Ruben ...

He can learn a lot from the ES team today...

Chicharito is really fast if he can stay onside he can hurt you with his speed. I am not a big fan of man coverage. I think it would be better to keep D Alas marking the middle he was intercepting passes really well in the Costa Rica game if he has to drop way back to man mark Chicharito we would be giving them to much of the field. Its better to press higher up with our D Mids especially since when that ball gets to the back we are very easy to breakdown

Chicharito fast off the ball he's good at catching the defense off-guard by going through them when they send a lob follow through pass to him, that's when he uses his speed. His heading good too but everything else isn't that great. First his passing really bad, he can't take players on, when he dribbles and pulls off tricks a lot of times I notice he gets tangled in his own legs, and has a decent finishing on goal.

He in my opinion is really overrated soccer player. Good player but not a World soccer star. Main reason Manchester United has Chicharito is for marketing.

Reason why I notice all these things about him because I follow Manchester United.

Your underselling Chicharito he has great off the ball movement and for CONCACAF standards is a great finisher. Man U doesn't have him for marketing purposes the guy has shown he can score for them so he has earned his spot. If he was just there for marketing Berba would still have a big role at Man U.

Costa Rica is up 2-0 over Guyana. Guyana is looking pretty bad

    Mexico's staring 11
Corona, Meza, Maza, Moreno, T.Nilo; Barrera, Zavala, Salcido, Guardado, Gio dos Santos y Chicharito

    ES:
Villalobos, García, Purdy, Turcios, Pacheco, D. Alas, R. Sánchez, Gutiérrez, Romero, J. Alas, Burgos
