Guyana took a pretty bad beating at home against Costa Rica today 4-0 pretty much getting eliminated in the process though not officially. We have 2 games against them next the first at home (Sept 7) the next away (Sept 11). Hopefully we get some players back by then. Xavi will miss the game so we get to see what is looks like to have someone else at RB

If we take both games we'll be at 7 points. I say Mexico ties in CR and wins in Mexico. The standings I expect at the end of the next round might look like Mexico 10 points, El Salvador 7, CR 5 and Guyana 0. Just hoping.

The players will be called in August 27th so they will have a little over a week to work together if there aren't any problems with the call ups

Guess from what he has seen Benji & Dagoberto might not be to his liking. But yeah four is odd well he will dwindle the list down, I wonder if there are any other Santa Tecla players worth looking at also should have seen if Orlando could be called up.

Martinez shouldn't be called up he has looked awful for a while now there are much better options then him at RM. There is nothing that Martinez brings that is positive right now he is doing everything bad. Carillo deserves a look given our other gk options he should loose some weight though and his distribution of the ball is shaky.

That's what's always bothered me about Benji he comes off his line too soon, too often, I think Castillo might lean toward Dagoberto starting I hope not but it's looking like it.

For me Carillo should be starting knowing that were not gonna
play vs big team no disrespect to Guyana i think Derby deserves a chance.

Is there a reason why mesias does not get called up. It would appear that his size would benefit us against big athletic teams like Guyana. Or his he not to the level of turcius and Purdy?? Just asking

Good question. He's a really physical player and pretty fast. I wonder if he could be used as a RB?

Mesias was really unstable in both of his two games he was called up for. I'm all for him being call up for some friendlies so he can have a chance to fit in, I remember Denis Alas sucked at first and looked out of sync but he eventually came thru. Hes also a dedicated player that's for sure.

With Turcios injured who do we see alongside Purdy from what I read Castillo did like using Elder at CB alongside Purdy but who else do you see taking that spot.
