standard organized performance .... good one touch and ball movement till minute 80

    9 points in 3 games - plus 5 differential.

Beasley - his touch and flow is off but at least he tries
Johnson - unmotivated - remove from the US Nats pool till he shows something to some coach professionally. He is now officially an embarassment and does not deserve to wear the jersey.

i loved watching "Timmay" getting pissed off after the apparent goal only to have it called back for offsides. It was as if he also was in shock at our defensive mids' incapability of holding on to the ball...

Good stuff by the USMNT. Kudos to Bob for putting Kljestan in front of Bradley. Good lineup and good tactics.

A couple of negative comments about our players, if we play this brand of soccer, I just don't see much of a place for Ching. Second, EJ was completely uninspired.

Finally, wonder why Wynne wasn't on the bench (didn't see him there)? would have been nice for him to pick up 15-20 minutes in a qualifier. That's my only small beef with Bradley tonight.

We're at home against a team ranked 78 in the eloratings. Everyone should have turned in outstanding performances.

    Great news from tonight's game:

    1. Got a solid win, no more 1-0.
    2. Eddie Johnson played his last game for the USMNT. Obviously, no coach would be stupid enough to call him up again, so that is settled, at least.

Good game. T&T controlled the first 10-15 minutes of the second half, but other than that the U.S. dominated.

If I had a nickel for every time someone said EJ played his last game with the US, I'd be a millionaire like EJ.

    My observations from this game:
    1) Overall, good passing. It was generally crisp and quickly delivered. I felt we controlled the run of play for all but the first 10 minutes of the second half and the last 10-15 of the game
    2) Good team defense. We generally closed down quickly. Not many dumb fouls I can recall. I only saw about 5-6 offensive chances that looked dangerous all game for T&T
    3) You can still see the effects of the injury on Beasley. Not his fault, just saying he is still a bit slow with a somewhat poor first touch.
    4) Johnson looked pretty bad tonight
    5) Kljestan looked pretty solid
    6) Dempsey, I owe you an apology. Whatever was causing your poor performance in previous games, you have overcome it recently.

    Re: vision

I think you're the ONLY person who had a problem with our play tonight.

    We were good.

Only looked bad for 10-15 minutes of the 2nd half but we were on cruise control up 2 or 3. No reason to over exert for 8-0 or something and risk injury.

Excellent match in the first half. We clearly came out in the second to just defend the lead. We could have score more in the 1st (penalty? Ching's finishing?), but I was really disappointed in Sacha. He looked out of his depth. He may come into his own with a little more confidence, but he played scared to night. In other words, I'm glad he was out there getting some experience :)

I can only assume that you're either drunk or high.

We had a great game, and beat T&T pretty badly. They never had a chance.

A solid win against an apparently demoralized T&T team.

Klejstan had a shocker for about 25 minutes, was better later.

I'd rather have seen Alan Gordon or Adam Christman come in instead of EJ.

Mike's goal was offside, but the ref made up for it by ignoring two clear PKs.

    Awesome noise from the crowd.
