after a crappy day at work....the sun finally came up and there were tix and a scarf in my mailbox. oh happy day! fid scarves turned out great!
Scarf-- you got your scarf too? We only got our tickets and not our scarf. Can we start a formal "where's my scarf" panic now?
Scarf and tickets arrived today. Section 134 Row 22. Close enough to Sam's Army without being right in it. And the scarf looks great. And something my wife ordered also arrived today so we're three for three for the day.
Open question - My seats are in 137 (I asked for Northend, not complaining), but will it be like Crew games where it's general admission or will it be strict protocol on seating arrangements. Should I expect a lot of squatters wanting to get in with Sam's Army?
I have season tickets in 106 but requested the two midfield seats on my order be upper deck, west side, if possible. They gave me my season tickets instead.
The remaining scarves, I have taken 50 packages each day for the last 3, will be delivered to the post office tomorrow. Expect them in your mail-boxes by the beginning of next week, though most of the Ohio ones have already gone out.
It's all general admission. If you have a ticket for Sam's Army (sections 136-138, maybe more sections), you can sit anywhere. As far as non-SA wanting in, i'm sure that'll happen. Walt said that on 2/28, it was packed. He started the game near the bottom of 137, left his seat, and when he came back, he couldn't get anywhere near the middle of 137, let alone the bottom.
Got mine yesterday too. My point about the front office (really ticket office) is more to do with the fact I was told I'd get them before the All-star game then worried about getting ripped off. I'd rather hear a real conservative estimate (i.e. by two weeks before the match) than a hopeful date. That way I would have been pleasently suprised when they would have arrived on the same date. Admittedly some of us get a little eager when we get told when we'll get them. Section 140 row 2 seats 1-3. The section I asked for, but a little lower than expected. Maybe we can get Gooch or someone to jump into the crowd after heading one home.
