Players like Abdoh Otaif can't really play against pressing teams like the Koreans.

أنا بس خايف يقفلون دفاع 90 دقيقة وتنتهي صفر صفر ونطلع

You see thats the thing, we need to improve our midfield. If we can do that we will be very dangerous in the WC, espicially with our offense. Also our defense has to be tougher and faster. Can we fix that within a year? No, but we can improve it a bit.

True, but again the game is in King Fahd, and we know very well what usually happens there. ;)

I don't know about the WC, but I think we would be much more dangerous in Asia if we had a stronger midfield because I don't see any Asian teams with better strikers up front.

I think we would be more dangerous if we give Abdulrahman Al-Qahtani a chance. His entrance was a turning point but then we got that bloody red card.

No dude it was always going to be played at 9 PM. The 1 o clock thing was spread by the clueless website kooora and the clueless Saudi newspapers.

1 o clock in Riyadh in June would be inhuman for any player. Even Saudi players would risk getting a sun stroke in that situation.

Nah man its gonna be normal time, you seriously think NK wants to play in the middle of the desert in the middle of June? :D 43 Celsius LOL! Do you even think FIFA wants people to see a WCQ game at 4 PM in Riyadh?!?

I don't know if being 1-1 with the keeper and not passing is considered selfish it's pretty normal.

    Player ratings:

    Waleed Abdullah -9.0 Legend
    Abdullah Al Zouri -6.0 okay
Osama Hawsawi -8.0 Rock in the defense
Naif Al Qadi -6.5 I think with more time playing together he can form a good partnership with Hawsawi
Abdullah Shuhail - 6.5 Better than Nami and was put under lots of pressure
Ahmed Otaif - 5.5 What happened? I rate him better than his
brother and he completely sucked this match :(
Hussein A.Ghani -6.0 Some nice freekicks and defensive work but not
    as good as before.
Obdoh Ataif -5.0 Shite. Always was, always will be.
Mohammed Noor -5.5 Always held on to the ball despite being triple
    marked or something wtf PASS?
Nasser Shamrani -5.5 Couple of attempts and dribbles but not to
    influential
Yasser Al Qahtani -6.0 Couldn't break the man marking.

    A.Rahman Qahtani- 7.0 Why isn't this guy a starter?
Naif Hazzazi - N/A didn't have time or luck (red card) to do much

Does Noor usually play right winger with Ittihad?

Also was it raining? I couldn't tell.

I was also dissapointed with Muhamed Noors performance today. But i still think he is the best Saudi player right now.

And Hazzazi should start from the beginning. I like the youngster.

Remember Yasser against UAE in the Gulf Cup? :p

I think Yasser was in a better position to score but Shamrani isn't the kind of player who would be aware of something like that.

I think Shamrani had his chance. It's not just that he doesn't score, but his work rate is pathetic. At least Yasser and Hazzazi go back to midfield to help out or to win the ball for themselves, and Yasser was even defending against set pieces.

I thought Yasser was really starting to get into the game after the two substitutions.

He had like what? 10 minutes before Otaif got red carded?

I don't think we can judge from just that wether he got back into the game or not.

Well, even aside from those 10 minutes, he was much better than our midfielders at not giving away the freaking ball. :p

Anyway, Pesseiro dropped the ball today. I hope he's learned from his mistake.

Btw I hear Abdoh Otaif's injury is quite serious.

Of course, you should be sad that he got an injury, but at least someone better will come on. Still, I think Abdoh Otaif is a good player.

He was good defensively, just like against Iran where he played a big game. Most of the dangerous Korean chances came from the other side as far as I remember.

It was really a lot, the funney thing they didn't score a single goal from all these corners : )

Hazzazi should be in the starting 11. I don't know why pesseiro benched him!
