    Very few Americans, too.

And a sincere lack of direct flights and appropriate stadia.

People have to come to the realization that College Football stadiums are probably not wide enough to host Official FIFA matches.

And other than Nashville I do no think we are going to see many NFL stadiums either.

Probably because the largest stadium in Idaho that has natural grass may be Ravsten Stadium in Idaho Falls, in which you can cram maybe 5000 (give or take) in for the Idaho Falls HS - Skyline HS football game.

Boise State, Idaho State, and Idaho all have turf. Although, as @Ismitje can tell you, Idaho has at least improved their turf since my one season as a Vandal.

As much as I want a game at Allianz, the March 27th match is the one in the middle of the away matches against Mexico and Costa Rica.

Not sure it would be the best fit for that three match grouping.

With the improvement in skill level the team has taken over the last year or so, we should be looking at the most gloriously groomed stadiums period.

I wonder how much, even with the B team, that field against Jamaica made our passing look terrible.

I think that is one thing that at least slightly lead to Busio looking so much better in the second half, feels like he got used to the shit pitch.

Only thing is he said "at this point in time" which is usually lawyer speak for maybe at a different time.

But I think the tweet is a bit misleading because I do not think anyone wants the team to play on artificial turf.
There are people advocating for stadiums to provide temporary grass turf like Seattle did.

Agreed. History there vs. Panama (2017, 4-0 win)

    I'm going to guess:
January vs el Salvador: Kansas City
    February vs Honduras: San Jose
    March vs Panama: Orlando

if you look at the list of WC26 stadiums, it's impossible to choose all natural grass venues, many of them have turf. But the World Cup is a way different situation than a 1-off WCQ.

First, the NFL season will be long done so they have the opportunity to lay down the grass over turf well before the tournament to let it take hold.

Second, it makes more sense more economically as each venue should host 5-7 matches. I don't know what it costs to roll in turf but it can't be cheap. So for a 1-off WCQ, why waste that money?

So I think McBride said "at this point in time" knowing that grass overlaid on turf is coming at some point. For WC26 for sure.

Besides playing Mexico, when do we get outnumbered in our own country. The Big stadiums always make us more vulnerable to that possibility but the SSS’s are coming in slightly small with the nats popularity growth. The only reasonable process is for US soccer to build a national stadium (maybe at RFK) and to administer the ticketing process the only way that gives the advantage to the US. Until then it’s the US road show. and go Vandals.

Whoo boy, that will be a fun one for the Salvadorans. Enjoy 35-degree weather and 20-degree wind chills (and that is probably a better-case scenario). :D

The thing is Florida has many Salvadorians that would drive in from Miami and neighboring Georgia and such.

Maybe if they do a weighted lottery like these other MLS stadium matches it may help keep it Pro-USA but I would not personally take any chances on that.

We can beat El Salvador with a 50/50 crowd. This worrying about away fans is getting out of hand. I understand not playing in NYC, but Orlando vs El Salvador, come on.
