I love the analog clock and the old fashioned scoreboard above the Brew Hall. We were in the front row, feet away from the potential US substitutes warming up. The vax card thing never happened. They stayed in our wallets.

Berhalter can go any time now, thank you very much. Taking photos with fans during the game, so unprofessional. Choosing this venue, so stupid.

Despite the cold, we were able to do some sightseeing. The Weisman Art Museum yesterday. St. Anthony's Falls and St. Paul (the Landmark Center is awesome) today. The Twin Cities seem nice. I hope to visit again when it will be easier to explore on foot.

    On to Orlando.

Yeah, we were next to them, seats 19 and 20. Those wigs were hats. I was wearing a black jacket with an ash hoodie topping my three layers on top of my head.

mine was the group with the roughly 20 mini bottles of booze that were singing/chanting most of the time. Is this you in the white hoodie?

We totally need to wear name tags with our BS names on it.

Actually did this once for a Crew game and it was a lot of fun.

Row 12 is the perfect height. You had a much better view than we did at field level. It was cool to be so close to the players, so no complaints. Another drawback of the lottery system.

yeah with the steepness of the section row 12 was fine, had a good view. It was fun seeing Weah work his magic right in front of us in the 2nd half, dude is amazing.

Someone with trustworthy information recently told me that US Soccer strongly considered moving this match within a week or so of its scheduled date to Austin because of the dire weather forecast of bitter cold in the Twin Cities.

They decided against the move because of the potential backlash.

Looking back now, thought it was incredibly memorable and enjoyed it. Memories for sure even though it was totally unnecessary. What a crazy WCQ cycle with the venue selection and covid limitations.

I live in Minneapolis and I love Allianz Field so I’m bias but I had a great time at that match! Now whenever anyone says it’s too cold for a soccer game I’m like well actually…
