No one else wanted to create the thread so I thought I'd do the honors. To answer one of Crzd's questions in another thread Lerma is suspended for this game due to yellow card accumulation. Other than that and all the injuries we are good to go.
And keeping on the card situation Cardona, Cuadrado, Díaz & Dávinson have to be careful against Peru or else they will miss the Argentina match with a yellow tomorrow.
I'm joking mate. Just having a go at Cruz Azul's tendency to wish others good luck and seeing them lose time and time again. Good luck tomorrow. James seemed to me to be the issue in the last window so I don't know how to feel that he won't be playing.
Thanks. After the pandemic and civil unrest and new Manager there is only one way to find out how we are going to play. So many uncertainties, but I try to be optimistic.
Hope for the Win... knock out the 3rd team from qualifiers.... tho if we tie or lose. It's over if we don't beat Argentina. Rather be in the top 5 and not using a calculator last time James pulled shit out of his ass after we played like shit all game and won. Sadly won't be there. Hope for a top game from Muriel and Zapata. That Cuadrado doesn't shit his pants in yellow and remembers diving doesn't work not wearing a Juve uniform. Also for other games. Think all games are clear home winners except for Uruguay and Peru games. Boliva winning at home vs Venezulea (KO both early) Uruguay vs Paraguay (a tie lets be even in points tho goal diff kills us) Argentina beating Chile (also helps us) Brazil beats Ecuador (Ecuador wins/ties then I see them as contenders) Hope we are the only away team to win Round 5 ends with us in 5th or 6th. (depends on what happens in the Paraguay vs Uruguay game. sadly round 6..... are the only games where it looks like the host isn't the clear winner. 4 Points would be awesome but 6 would be better Colombia v Argentina Venezuela v Uruguay Peru's 6th game is Ecuador in Ecuador. They need to go all out to beat us. 1 point after 6 games is game over. I don't rate Bolivia and Venezulea just doesn't have the players. It goes straight to a 7 team race. Depending on our result tomorrow.
We need the C4 that beats his man so mercilessly that the defender gives him half the field of room so C4 can pelt in crosses all day into Muriel and Zapata. And we need Diaz to completely drive their rb crazy. We do that and we should win.
Always hard to find a reliable probable XI for Colombia when there's a new manager, but heard this one on Colombian radio earlier; Mina not fit, Seb Pérez also being considered:🇨🇴XI vs 🇵🇪: Ospina; Medina, Davinson, Murillo, Tesillo; Cuadrado, Barrios, Uribe; Muriel, Duván, Díaz pic.twitter.com/w0IGDPb4KW— Carl Worswick (@cworswick) June 3, 2021 Perez, really?
as a inter fan I love when the most hated on guy gets a goal and the fans have to give him a salty ass complement.. I still remember Perez goal against Ecuador it was super nice. maybe the shit he put on his head to not lose his hair killed his soccer ability who knows! Hope he can recover as he was an interesting prospect and doesn’t become another Toja
So i'm actually not to concerned, I really like Carlos Cuesta to start this game, hell Lucumi would of been nice too. Carlos Cuesta left an impression on me since his u19 days. I want him to start.
Who knows how to cross or takes corners on our team Hope no Mina or James vs Peru doesn’t hurt us no Mina against Argentina would be a issue. Any foul near their box could be a goal which we miss without Mina
i wanna see Rueda do well. Just saw this game is on late af, 10pm?! really? RIP me who needs to wake up early tomorrow
no thats in the US, and now that I zoom in and look properly not only do I see a US flag but that looks like the AA Arena downtown and Bayside right next to it. They are in Miami, about 30 minutes away from my house. Pretty sure I know what building they're in. Its Downtown Miami, Biscayne Blvd to be exact. colombians love miami, although honestly the vast majority of Miami is ugly af. Only very tiny parts of the city are nice. I hope to hopefully move somewhere up north one day, Maybe NC or Boston. Somewhere with plenty of nature, seasons and mountains.
