Why is it that we always make Venezuela look like Brazil? Like seriously it's embrassing.

Its been fun guys. For what it’s worth, I enjoy commiserating about Colombia futbol with you all. If I could, I would buy a round of shots for all of us right now :(

Well we're making the next world cup for sure; there will be 6 spots for South America for 2026.

We can take the chance to start all over and move forward with a new coach, set of players, and for god's sake, a new Federation redone.

Sadly I think we will find a way lower the standard next cycle. I won’t mind being wrong

We didn’t deserve to go to Qatar. We squandered many opportunities, but the worst was losing against Peru.

Fariñez is having a great game against us, as usual.

think the base line is good

    3-3-3-1

    —————-New GK——————-
    ——Munoz —— Cuesta——Lucumi
    ——new CM—Cantillo—-Alzate
    Sinisterra——new 10——Diaz
    —————-new 9

    Gk
Montero is all I can think of unless it’s Chunga
    Hope another comes out

    cb
    Sánchez
    Mina if he ever recovers

    cm
    Barrios
    Lerma
    The kid from millos

    new 10
    Quintero
Aguedelo(like him the best think he can switch on and off with the other 2 wingers in my team below)

    new 9
    Cucho
    Borja
    Morelos
    Luis Suarez

we have a good team we just need a good coach

i like how Spezia play and Thiago Motta would be one of my outside of the box options

one thing no more James, Cuadrado or Falcao. At the same time no more Oscar Murillo or Tesillo.

I've settled with us not qualifying weeks ago, so I'm watching this match purely for the future cycle.

One thing I'm concerned about is Sinisterra. He's not playing a bad game, but you can tell how off he must be feeling playing on the righthand side. All his cuts and shots are just slightly off.

It sucks. We gotta exploit Diaz and Sini as much as possible, but you can't move Diaz out of the spot he's thriving in. Even tho I think he'd probably do better on the right than Sini does.

I think We should play with 3 Wingers and have them switch sides to fk with teams

    Sinisterra ———Aguedelo ———Diaz

obviously with a strong 9 up front

Agudelo's gotta do a lot more for his club before he's in the conversation. Hell, even Carrascal jumped ahead of him, for me.

We've got a long time before our next competitive match. I'd honestly just give minutes to Yaser Asprilla if the fed decides to schedule any friendly...

You may be waiting a long time, bro.

In fact, I'd bet money Rueda doesn't get officially replaced until late 2023. If he gets replaced...

I have to call bullshit; even the federation wouldn't be that stupid as far as the stupid shit that they've done.

Welp in typical fashion..we miss out on the world cup by one point. In the last 6 world cup cycles we made two and failed to make four… and in all four we missed out by 1 point or less.

What pisses me off is they should’ve fired this guy way before the demise. Wait until he gets us out of the World Cup to fire him?

How does Jesurun get reelected with two games to go and qualification still in doubt? What a joke!

    Burn it down.

Now what do we do, lol?

Now? Now we start anew. This year, next year, and then come 2024 the Copa America (now aligned with the Euros) all while qualifying an easier qualification for 2026. We'll have to take full advantage of this long length and ready the next generation of players.

It is time for a promising coach (hopefully pekerman again) and a new core of players to lead the next generation.
