Correct. I misspoke. Thanks for the correction!!

    1. If we win, we need Peru to draw/lose
    2. If we draw, we need Peru to lose and Chile to lose/draw

So if we draw while Peru loses then we advance over them due to GD but as you said Chile beating Uruguay would set them above the two of us.

We have to win and Peru needs to lose in order for us to get that playoff spot...it's good that there are two ways for us to advance but winning the match and Peru not winning is the most ideal....

Chile, Colombia and Peru should sue fifa and comenbol for the bs screw job Uruguay got to do

Like Uruguay doesn’t deserve to be at the wc if they don’t beat chile. I am still mind blown how a goalie is allowed to walk into goal

Final game we need to play

    a 4-2-3-1

whatever yesterday was would get us murdered on a counter attack

defense yesterday was fine even tho I hate Tesillo

    Munoz——Cuesta—Tesillo ——-Fabra
    ———Cantillo/Uribe—Cuellar———-
    Sinisteria——-Quintero ———Diaz
    —————-Muriel/Borja—————

we need to have a CF as the team was crossing to no one until Borja came in yesterday

Things are not looking the best still, Peru has a great track record at home against Paraguay...

    —————-Morelos—————

I think this would be ideal if Morelos is fit, if not maybe go with Borre to start and use Muriel off the bench. Although with Cantillo and James in midfield we may be able to use Muriel more effectively getting the ball into his feet, but as is especially considering we don't have any wide attackers on the bench I think Muriel coming off the bench for Diaz/Sini or as a 9 is a good weapon, we need people who can change the game to play off the bench. Quintero/James a close decision but I guess I'd still default to James for more minutes and give Quintero lots of time off the bench when we need him since even at his peak Quintero was at most a 60 minuet player. I'd imagine its Uribe instead of Cantillo and probably Borja instead of Morelos with how Rueda does things.

Not saying Cuellar was bad but I wonder why Barrios did not start? Was he at too many yellows?

It is sad that we can't control our destiny. How did we let this happen? I told myself I wouldn't watch anymore but I couldn't stay away. Hopefully Paraguay keeps the momentum against Peru and plays like they did yesterday.

Haha watching Argentina vs Venezuela …..

no way we are beating that team.

best bet is tie and hope Peru lose.

a counter would make the game end 7-0 with them winning

Shut up. We need optimism and less of your typical stupid online trolling.

Honestly, Venezuela's morale will be down due to their string of losses and I honestly do think that Pekerman is gonna leave after our match win or lose.

The team has to win to assure of them getting that 5th place spot if Peru doesn't win against Paraguay. I think it's possible for Peru to ******** up but nothing is promised 100% here.

They just need to not lose. I think for at the very least of Paraguayan pride they can manage that.

We have to focus on our own game with Venezuela.

Luckily it’s Peru vs Paraguay. No disrespect to them but if it was Brazil/Arg I wouldn’t even hold my breath.

I know we all talk crap about this player doesn’t work or this team sucks. But at the end of the day Idc how much you hate this team we all want Colombia in the World Cup. I hope Paraguay helps us out and at least gets a draw in Peru and we do our part in Venezuela. We have too much talent to not be on the big stage.

yea I mean the team can click come Qatar and win the thing. That would be awesome

but can someone tell me what Rueda was thinking vs Bolivia?

everyone goes should have been 4-0…. But it was Diaz plus 10 assholes. Then Diaz and Borja with 9 assholes with 10 guys attacking

that only works in youth level and even then when they are like 7 years old

Don’t you call Mr Sinister an @$$hole! LOL

We still rely on individual efforts and deep passes to score goals when we have the individual talents to score goals as a team via short quick passes and creating space. That’s what bothers me the most about this team.

A smart team would have beaten us 4-1 on Thursday.
