It’ll be during FIFA’s “supporters” ticket phase, which is after the draw (typically December to January). A weighted lottery application period, followed by results.

I have just about given up any hope of drawing during the supporters ticket phase. Hearing that the USSF allotment is so small that it likely won't even cover the top tier insiders let alone us mere mortals. Might as well go play the Lotto. Probably better chances at winning.....lol.

So what’s the play for the visa pre sale? Make an account for every Visa card you have?

    Where were you "hearing" that?

I'm throwing my hat into the Visa presale in any case.

I entered the queue. Took an hour and a half. Countdown timer showed up at 1 hour counting down from 30 minutes. At end of time the Enter button showed up. Clicked on it and instantly got error message.

    Starting over. EFFFFFF THIS!

There’s no advantage to applying now versus anytime before Sept 19. Just wait until later today or tomorrow.

Same thing happened to me. Somehow FIFA is even worse than Ticketmaster.

I got in in about a minute. But the USA matches don't show up. So, now what?

I finally got in. Filled in my information. But the scroll down for entering my phone number doesn't give me but a list of exchanges. Click on the 1 for the US but you can't then add your phone number. And none of the options to start are the correct 1+area code either. What a POS.

After some research seems the key is to do it on your phone. Went that route and got right in no problem. All registered and got confirmation email. Now just hope to get EXTREMELY lucky.

You're not registering for any specific matches today. You're registering for a drawing for a future window to buy tickets. If you get picked in the drawing, you get a time window where then you can buy whatever tickets they have available.

    Do you get a confirmation? I didn't.

Also, it says there's matches there to buy, just not USA/MEX/CAN

I got an email saying thank you for entering, we will notify you no earlier than September 29, blah, blah, blah. The form included questions for what rounds and venues I'm interested in, but I presume those answers are non-binding. There wasn't anything about specific matches.

Are you looking at the hospitality tickets? Those are the only way to actually purchase right now. The hosts were excluded from follow your team hospitality packages, I think because the openers were treated as their own thing.

If you want to secure tickets you can go down the expensive and overly complicated route of RTBs (rights to buy).

I bought some RTBs to M81 San Francisco (round of 32 game if US goes 1st in its group), M88 Dallas (round of 32 game if US goes 2nd in its group) and M95 Atlanta (round of 16 game if US wins M88). Then I decided I didn't want to drag my young children around the country to follow the USMNT (...I am keeping one of each for myself). I have 2 M81 RTBs and 2 M88 RTBs for sale at or near the low listing price (my M95s sold).

Has anyone gotten an email from FIFA? I kind of expect just to never to hear anything one way or another.

Have a pretty extensive list of people I know with being involved in one of the supporters groups and nobody got any notifications. Play the Price is Right fail sounder.

Call me crazy.. but i pulled trigger on 1 ticket on the marketplace. I just need the 1 extra for each game, this seemed...dare I say... reasonable.

Our 3rd game, in LA. $900. Face is 400-500 ish so not a bad markup, and piece of mind is nice.

Assuming alot more inventory on the marketplace as more lotteries open up.

Anyone know what the USA TST prices were in the previous window?

It’s just the sum of the three games. So Cat 3 US TST was roughly $1900 (and still available now, from what I understand)

    You’re crazy :)

Do you have access to the primary sale? I think Cat 1 and 2 were still available to buy for some of the US games.

Are you planning to link that ticket up with your others (via group ID)? I haven’t seen that mentioned yet as a possibility, but it’s been there for the past few World Cups for tickets within the same category. Not sure about mixing primary and resale orders though.

I never got selected for any of the Visa presales. Who knows what sort of ID link they do this time. Just needed to lock this one in, knowing full well that tix maybe cheaper down the road.

Ironically I could relist it now and make money off of it. Crazy times.

USA TST 3 (cat 3): $2,100 per. On the visa presale timeslot today. Inflated due to opening game for sure.
