Now, I just received my official email from FIFA telling me I was partially successful in the My Team USA draw. I did get the 2 tickets for Paraguay in Supporter Premier Tier.
Got 2 tix, Supporters Value Tier, for Group Stage Match 3 vs. TBD in Los Angeles. Applied for every game except Group Stage M1 and QF.
All signs point to no tickets for me for Levi's Stadium matches in the Random Selection Draw. On to the FCFS sale in April. I am amazed that FIFA is selling out matches like Austria vs. Jordan on a Tuesday night at 9 PM or Jordan vs. Algeria on a Monday night at 8 PM with tickets starting at $140.
I’m extremely curious if this is just a one time thing for the World Cup because it’s in America. World cups are usually a lot cheaper than this and a lot easier to access tickets in other countries, right? I’m curious if the market for like the next World Cup will be significantly lower and it’s just a one time thing because it’s in America.
Formally got email about US Soccer tickets: Got 2x in Supporters Value Tier (Cat3) for Australia and then UEFA game. Still waiting on results of single game tickets but feel very fortunate with this knowing a lot of friends and long time fans are getting shut out.
I got two supporters value tickets for vs. UEFA, R32, R16, R8, and semis. My only miss was Australia. I selected supporter premium with the option to take a cheaper level if possible but was not successful. FWIW on datapoints in lottery results, I've been a $45 Insider for about a decade and jumped to the $500 Circle for this lottery so I believe I had a 6x multiplier. Curious about the Australia game. Wonder if demand was that much higher or if supply was lower or what since I'm seeing very few who got that one, even in higher levels as noted above.
If anyone happened to double up on hits, please come here first to try and sell your tickets! Thanks!
I’m still excited for the tournament, but find it sadly ironic that a home World Cup was the worst thing for my chances to attend this cycle. Prices sky high and (I assume?) interest to match it, I guess that’s a good thing overall, even if I get cut out, I’m still a little flabbergasted that my supporters circle status netted me nothing. I may have to reconsider if that’s worth it going forward, I could take that 2k and just buy tickets on the secondary market.
Is FIFA still doing its draw? I haven’t seen anyone confirm a fifa (not us soccer or other federation) email. Did I miss that somewhere?
a friend of mine just got an email with a partial success for the general FIFA/RSD draw so those must be at least starting to go out. I haven't heard anything from my RSD application but I only applied for one game and put everything else in the US games
yeah just got email about partial success for RSD draw. I got 2x for Holland/Japan that I'm excited about. That said, the number of long long time supporters (high caps + high $) who got nothing is absolutely shocking and a total sucker punch.
I might be one of those people, still waiting on RSD results. I just noticed that the status of my US PMA application changed from Applied to Unsuccessful. The individual matches changed from Closed to Lost.
Thanks. Yeah I haven't received any communication, but mine also changed from closed to lost. 5 US matches applied for, zero successful. (I've also applied in each FIFA window for some random other non-US matches and got nothing, so big uff so far to me.)
Well, my RSD application updated to Unsuccessful and Lost. SOL for me. Maybe I can get lucky in the last minute FCFS sale.
Does anyone know anybody that got $60 USA PMA tickets? I haven't seen anything, anywhere, that I recall. I wasn't eligible but was curious if anyone knows of anyone. At least the England FA has many people reporting successfully getting these $60 tix.
I’ve been told the $60 winners will be notified on Monday. Just what I’ve heard. I’m not in AO, but they have posted that somewhere.
I think the supports circle is worth it for world cups outside of the US because the demand is a lot less. Home World Cup not worth it.
