Now I gotta hear it from my sister in law if Uruguay wins on friday... For some reason this loss didnt sting like the one 4yrs ago. Positives: Alvarez is going to be a beast. Memo will be memo in 4yrs. Salcedo has improved. And now that Araujo is in Europe he can only learn more. Raul needs to get PT at club level, he looked more energetic than cheech, for sure. Also, if you lose the ball from the midfield back and jog back on defense, you belong no where near the national team.
Again guys, Gio is no world beater but Pizzaro isn't either. What difference would Pizzaro have made? you guys were crying as if Lozano was left out.
Pizarro is as good in his position as Lozano is in his. And even if you don't call Pizarro taking a DM was a must, we wasted a sub with Rafa today.
Pizarro at least had a good season with his team. We should call up players based on what they’ve done with their club.
http://espndeportes.espn.com/futbol...eccionado-estadounidense-recuerda-el-dosacero this guy serious? idiot. Glad even Nads are blasting him for it
This, this has always been our issue. We don't have players to can make a difference in the final 3rd.
No manchen, a cualquier güey le dan microfono. "Como vio el partido?" "Excelente. Dimos todo, asi se juega. Animo!"
Great first 20 plus minutes. Brazil pretty much dominated after that. Some decent chances towards the end, I like how they still pushed Brazil back a few times even in the dying moments of the game, but not enough talent to orchastrate good counter attacks and finish it up. Not their fault, they(current players) aren't often put in situations where they have to decide the outcome of games due to the quality of their talent. We need Mex players to be difference makers in Europe, not in the mickey mouse leagues though. Enough of La Liga MX, try to send them young when you see their potential. Or it will be the same story every single 4 years. A Messi level of talent needs to be found to completely change the Mexican Football culture.
He's drink. I'm drink too. I'll have to rewatch game but don't recall Guardado purposely staying on the right side of the field. Although, nothing wrong with him playing de perfil cambiado to send cross field passes AKA switching the point of attack.
Personally, I’m just glad that Edson recovered after his shit performance against the Swedes. Goes to show the guy is mentally strong and rose above his mistakes He played a great game and did a good job covering bitch boy Neymar in the 1st half. Edson has quite the future. Hopefully Wilas let him go to Europe
I don't want to be "that" guy but I had low expectations coming into this game and am not sad at all. Felt very meh about this R16 game and I wasn't as excited as past world cups. For some reason that 3-0 Sweden loss really hit me hard, it really told me this team wasn't what I thought it could be. Even though a lot of people said "it was just one bad game with one bad result, no big deal" I knew there was a lot more meaning behind a 3-0 loss to Sweden, how would we expect to make it far if we couldn't even take out a side or come out with a tie against a team like them? Osorio's time with the national team was very unique to say the least, I appreciate his personality and the work he did with the team but the team was very mediocre and only showed glimpses of greatness in very brief, random moments. I'll always like Osorio as a person and am thankful for his time and for the whole proceso but I don't think his managing brought out the best in this Mexico squad. What mostly disappointed me of this national team was our lack of being able to "pick it back up" after being a goal or two down in a game. It almost always seemed that after we got scored on, we would just shut down. There was no come-back, no habia ganas, it seems like everyone would just put their head down and get more goals scored on. It happened several games. IDK if that has to do with our mentality or simply we just can't keep up a high-intensity game for a full 90 minutes. We'd go guns blazing at the beginning and it'd progressively die out. There are positives also, obviously, I was very impressed with Gallardo this WC and am happy Lozano is becoming a figure at such a young age. This new age leading to 2022 is going to see a lot of changes, and I'm hoping our federation can wake up and start giving more chances to youngsters, we have a lot of potential but we need to trust our young players more.
Wow. He’s straight trash for that. Rafa actually has a decent showing too. Edit: I know there’s potential for jokes in what I just said but we ain’t going there, so don’t bother.
Pinche cara de panocha Rafa had a much better game than Jona After this WC, I hope we don’t see Jona or Gio back on the NT. Those MLS scrubs should just enjoy their early retirement and leave the NT for guys who aren’t wasting their talent on such a shit league
