I seem to doubt it. I think you can get away with unimportant RPL and UPL matches, but not this. Furthermore I think it is just some people looking for an excuse why Russia got upset.

So either Perviy Kanal fabricated an entire story complete with fake interviews and commentary about the team staying up late into the night drinking beer, or they really did it.

Good to hear that Akinfeev is a sober monogamist.
