Bringing on Füllkrug was definitely the right move, the issue was it was in place of Gundogan when it clearly should have been Muller, and Goretzka also came off which meant we had just Kimmich as a proper midfielder and Muller, Musiala, Gnabry, Sane & Füllkrug all on at the same time which was overkill. We then brought on Gotze for Raum and swapped Muller for Havertz and conceded again. The subs and tactics were somewhat deranged in that second half. If we’d started with a proper balanced attacking line up with Füllkrug at CF we wouldn’t have needed to empty the midfield and defence.
Its official. I believe this is an excellent first step. Big names, big personalities and a lot of success both on and off the field. Mintzlaff for those who dont know much about him is one of the main people that lead RB Leipzig to where they are today, and he is the new boss at Red Bull F1. A very well respected person with a lot of experience in management.
to many cooks spoil the broth ?????????????????? Not sure - hope these guys can agree and make a huge change - they are all very influential , so lets see if they can make a difference holding thumbs
They did something similar in 2000 and that worked really well (both Völler and Rummenigge were part of it as well). Im sure these guys are professional enough to come together and find the right structure and people to lead the change. The only person who is still involved with a football club on permanent bases in Kahn (who they obviously couldnt find one smiling photo of him haha) Sammer is just an advisor at BVB these days and Mintzlaff is the Red Bull CEO.
^Ollie Kahn looks like he's aged 40 years in the last 5 years. The years have been kind to Sammer, Kalle and Voeller though.
