Yes - that's a big part of what ruined the tournament. England folded up after an excellent 60 mins, and in the other semi, France meekly surrendered. The Final really was France vs Spain, but France were blown away

They could have instead met Argentina in the quarters, provided they first got past Ghana and Switzerland. Paredes has always been a clown, very lucky not to get sent off and then totally lost it at full time. I don't mind fighting spirit but Argentina pushed it too far and should have played with at least some intent of trying to attack, Spain are not unbeatable but you have to put them under more pressure.
