Yuck, do you know how insufferable the English are going to be over the next 4 years if that happens...I will take Spain over them if that's the final.....Watching the English crash and burn yet again is worth putting up with Spain getting a second star.

Should England win you can always say they needed help from a German to win their second World Cup, but don't worry, England aren't winning because their head coach is foreign.

The sole thought of Spain staining the World Cup for a second time makes my head hurt. I'm currently putting up with way too much shit in my personal life, so even though I don't like France all that much, I sincerely hope they prevent those arrogant Spaniards from getting anywhere near the trophy, my mental health would appreciate it.

Every time Argentina surpassed the QFs they played the final, so all you England haters have nothing to worry about. Argentina are already in the final.

That being said, if the Argentina-England match doesn't end in a massive brawl I'll be disappointed.

Argentina is the worst team of the lot. They haven't played a single top 10 team, yet have struggled heavily. Sure Messi still can decide a game on his own and they are hard to break down but those are qualities all remaining teams have.

Argentina, England have not played that good. Spain looks beatable to. They look human except from Yamal who have not had the greatest form so far. France looks like the complete package with immense offensive power.

Sad though that Germany of today still are far away from these teams and playing decent and being solid att the back would probably been enough to reach far.

Honestly, Germany had it coming, as they were clearly resting on their laurels following the 2014 World Cup, and the worst part is that they've now been surpassed by Spain in number of Euros won. That last part makes my blood boil.

Spain only got 1 world cup gold though. And still it was seen ( maybe still is) as the benchmark for Germany. Instead of refining its own football indentity making it more modern. Germany should play as Germany and play with power and intesity and being pragmatic. Long way to go considering the mentality seems to be broken. Klopp can be the one turning it around as his game has a clear identity that can be considered modern german game.

I already posted that the broken mentality problem started with Löw, and ground zero was the Euro 2008 final.

And yeah, Germany admiring Spain for their sole World Cup has always annoyed me, as they already had three. Have some pride in yourselves, you idiots!

I don't feel like watching any of the SFs, guys.

On side I can't stand those smug Spaniards, and on the other side it's a meh England vs a tedious Argentina.

I spent 3 hours spending on personal projects yesterday as I knew the final outcome of Argentina vs Switzerland and glad what a best use of my time it was

France will win it. By far the strongest squad. The other teams rely on one or two players to bail them out.

I sincerely hope you're right. They're the least bad option. England are done, the Argies need to STFU and Spain absolutely not.

I feel this is Jude Bellingham’s World Cup and the final possibly going to be a repeat of Euro 2024 but with a different outcome

Would be the first time ever a country won the World Cup with a foreign head coach if it were to happen, but Argentina have always played the final every time they advanced from the QFs.

If France gets past Spain they'll join Germany (1982 to 1990) and Brazil (1994 to 2002) as the only countries to reach 3 consecutive World Cup final's. Would also be their 5th World Cup final since 1998, they'd never reached a single World Cup final before that.

Speaking of streaks, Germany had another one snapped this tornament.
They'd reached a World Cup final in every decade since the 1950s, so the sequence will end at 7 consecutive decades.

England have one major hurdle to overcome.

Argentina have never been knocked out of a SF.

Digne careless on the foul, and Yamal opportunistic to get the penalty awarded

Spanish have controlled this first half exceptionally in and out of possession.

Rodri and Ruiz have bossed the CM completely which looks a problem for the French
