Pilka Nozna is reporting that PZPN has confirmed that FIFA (sorry about the long chain of evidence) will place Poland in the 'second basket' when the draw for WC 2006 qualification groups (Dec 6 in Frankfurt) takes place. Which means that Poland will be the second seed (and not the third seed, as some expected) giving it a better chance to qualify. Then again being the second seed in the EURO 2004 qualifiers did not help us any...
