England & Netherlands! I'd say to watch out for Cote d'Ivoire which could be the World Cup's revelation and in not underestimating the American team which seems to be a pretty tough team this year. Although I wonder why Adu and Eskandarian were not called up! Too young?
IMO: Italy, Argentina, and the Czech Republic. For some reason I think Mexico could be a thorn in the side if we met them. Holland as well, of course, but the 3 above are the ones that I see as the most dangerous challengers.
What is Brazil's problem with the Mexicans? They are handled easily by the United States last few years.
I think that Argentina, Mexico, and Italy could be the biggest opponents for the Brazilians... Argentina b/c they seem to be one of the most talented teams out there with Riquelme, Messi, Tevez, and Crespo... That's a magical quartet in itself... Mexicans play with their own flair and creativity, and their good at possessing the ball... Italy I think is the most offensively creative european team and they also have one of the better defenses... All of those teams I think could put 2 or 3 goals in against the Brazilians and if they're having an off day who knows what can happen...
Brazil's problem with Mexico is that all they do are 1)find space, 2)cross the ball, and 3)head it in. Roque and the gang have had some problems with this. They're also a quick team. I was terrified of England because of Rooney and that offensive midfield (Beckham, Gerrard, Lampard). I thought Rooney could bulldoze his was to a goal or two. Now, he may not even play because of injury. I agree with the above poster about the Ivory Coast. Its not just Drogba- you can see what they're doing with Arsenal in the CL.
