No Baggie likes the fact that we're back down, but looking at a First Division fixture list seems strangely comforting. A lot could happen between now and the start of the next season, but I think Albion will easily double the number of points from last season, looking at some of the teams. Still, I don't expect an easy time battling to go back up - I fully expect the Hammers, Forest, Millwall, Derby, Sheff. Utd., Ipswich and Watford (?) to be well in the hunt. Did they have to schedule Millwall at home & Cardiff away two weeks apart?
Albion have been drawn at home to Brentford in the (Football League) Carling Cup and will be played on either Tuesday 12th August or Wednesday 13th August.
