That a way to make Chicago's South side yet again the proud parents of the pride of Major League Baseball.

    idiots.

Three times earlier Tuesday night, the game was delayed when fans ran onto the field before being tackled by security guards.

    Galactic lustful intention sighs to and fro peons}{

There couldn't be a punch line. Which touches base of the past. A thought, occurrences tauntingly with predatoriness. Whom shall differentiate behavior in professionalism. Is (and I emphasize IS) player involvement necessarily affirmative action?
Did U.S. Military Stance provide enough education on matter during Colonial Period or should players take active roll in mien? Unprovoked benign players should be obeservantly stonewalled, at random; vocabularies and misfortune formulates havoc. What do security personnel do? They must clean up sooner or later.

    We have achieved Ludicrous Speed

Shouldn't the thread title be "Way to go, jackassES"?

Things like this just make me shake my head in disappointed wonder. I mean, it's a baseball game. How can anyone get this worked up over a such a sleep-inducing event?

I hope they throw the book at these morons to discourage others looking for their 40 seconds of TV time.

Didn't this happen in a Royals vs White Sox game last season too? Do the Royals inspire so much hatred among White Sox fans?

Do you guys really think that this has anything to do with the Royals or baseball at all?

Its about some ************ up getting all boozed and fired up on one of the first warm days of the year in Chicago. Then he thinks he can have some fun and be a tough guy by doing something stupid. A baseball game is just where it happened. Could have been a McDonalds parking lot, neighborhood bar or kids birthday party. Now its becoming a trend to act like a fool at Chicago baseball games - and idiots love trends.

As a Cubs fan I'm tempted to laugh at the Sox in response to the constant whining about yuppies and any other characterizations of Cub fans by Sox fans. But I suppose it's just another random yahoo. I wish they'd jump Frank Thomas next time to wake him up, but I guess he's too intimidating for everybody except AL pitchers.

Which team was it whose players went into the stands at Wrigley Pub... er, I mean Wrigley Field to go fight some fans?

Oh, and the Cubs/yuppie thing is so true. Except for all the suburbanites who also go to Wrigley. Cubs games must have one of the highest concentrations of cellphones per square foot in America.

Anyway, fighting at any sporting event is moronic and attacking coaches, players and refs/umps is moronic squared. They should have just let the Royals (and the Sox too if they felt like it) beat the shit out of those idiots.

How come nobody ever jumps over the glass and onto the ice at a hockey game? Now THAT would take some serious cajones. :D

NOTE to all jackasses who wish to disgrace themselves by attacking people on the field at Comiskey Park: If you're going to be a jackass and attack people on the field at Comiskey Park, you might want to avoid attacking the guy on the field who is a reserve Marine. He fucked your shit up good.

Because hockey player all have these nice big sticks in their hands with which to pummel and trespassers. Maybe MLB should let the field players carry baseball bats.

Fine then, all Cubs fans are hat-stealing yuppies and sububanites with cell phones and all Sox fans are too cheap to come on any other night than 1/2 price night and buy upper deck seats and then sneak down to the good seats so they can save their money for more booze so they can get ripped enough to jump on the field. I think that sums it up then.

Sure, that's Chicago. The home of the Jerry Springer Show. There's something in the Chi Town air that must make them resort to Violence. ;)

Having sticks has nothing whatsoever to do with it. Compare a hockey fight to a baseball fight - it's no contest. With the possible exception of Nolan Ryan of course.

Speaking of that, though, has anyone seen the footage of Mike Curtis (I think that's his name) of the circa late 60s/early 70s Baltimore Colts when a fan ran on the field? The guy wasn't attacking anyone, and was just kind of running around like a drunken idiot, and Curtis takes one step and clotheslines the guy. Out cold.

Maybe that's why Daley closed Meigs field, because of all the violence in the air, or something...

Mike Curtis' hit was classic. I believe the guy tried to snatch the ball.

    Good sum.

OK, I was just being facetious. Still, the stereotypes do have a kernel of truth to them, you must admit.
