We better start to get some ********ing decisions our way because as it stands VAR is absolutely ********ing us.
Well Jorgi is finally gonna get a breather. That yellow suspends him for the next EPL game. Let’s hope Kante will be ready in time.
Clear and obvious is certainly how it's been used previously in the Prem, apart from for offsides. That's my big frustration - how they've used it in this game is not how they've used it previously this season in this competition. I do like your idea of a time limit. Makes total sense.
Again? Has been one of our best players for a solid month. Even nominated for player of the month in the league. It seems a touch harsh to pick him out as being a repeat problem imho. Kepa with a 2 point save at the death. FFS we dont make things easy
I think he was mostly decent today, but those occasional sloppy passes can be killer at this level, as we know.
Incredible end with Kepa saving from a good Foster header. As I said before though, it should've been put away a long time ago.
It was, as robbie Earle says, re-refereed today which is not the point but likely the norm more and more. Also, it's currently used in 4 scenarios I believe. Expect this to increase over time sadly. But the worst part as a fan is you really dont feel you can celebrate a marginal goal anymore and that sucks.
Wasn't even vaguely a foul imho. VAR is bs. Re-refereeing is altering the game. My MOTM has to be Jorghino. And he is going to miss our next game because of a dubious yellow card.
Six points between us and 5th. That's pretty huge, especially as we should improve with players coming back in. My MOTM was Foster. He kept them in it when it should have been settled. Excellent performance from him today (and how often do we have to say that about the opposition keeper).
I don't mind the thing with the marginal goals if it's applied the right way - can even increase tension/drama. Definitely agree on the re-refereeing and that's the opposite of what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to assist refs, not replace them. Its utilisation at the World Cup was not perfect but pretty good - it added to the entertainment, at least. But in the English game they've used it to strangle life out of the game.
He's been poor three matches in a row. That's worth note. Just because he had a good run doesn't mean he's above criticism especially considering he's 30+. I've praised him when he's deserved it (saying something from me).
30% into a season where outside observers thought we'd be lucky to scrape mid table, and we're 3rd during an era where two of the best ever Premier League teams are playing, *2* points behind Manchester City. If Villa and Southampton had held on, we'd be 2nd, only 5 points behind This Is Our Year FC. ******** the haters.
