Re: Watching PARTY vs metroscum Sat Jun 5 6:30 By the way - at 6:00 there is a 30 minute pre-game show...and Trinity has installed a second Big Screen in the back, so there's room for you, your friends and any college co-ed's you know!
Re: Watching PARTY vs metroscum Sat Jun 5 6:30 I'm pretty sure that that pregame show is the MetroStars' pregame show on MSG Network. I don't that we're big-time enough to have our own pregame show on Fox Sports Net Southwest yet.
Re: Watching PARTY vs metroscum Sat Jun 5 6:30 Incidentally, I'm changing the thread title. C'mon, "metroscum"? Does anyone around here have enough bad feelings toward the Metros to label them as scum. Annoying? Yes. League darlings? Absolutely. Scum? I don't think so. Besides, they've provided a good home for our dearly departed Little Joe Cow and T-Bone and they've given us Señor Autogolazo in return. There's only one scum in this league and they play on Lakeshore Drive in Chicago.
Well, they did beat us in the playoffs once. And Clint Mathis ripped off the MLS Goal of the Decade against us. And Clint dropped a 5 spot on us a few years ago. Scum? Maybe not but I am glad Clint doesn't play for them anymore - at least not against us anymore.
Had a good time last night, it was good to see everyone. Now we can start getting geared up for an actual HOME game. I hope I remember how to get to the Cotton Bowl. Counting the days until Saturday.
