If we win, be sure to do the traditional conga line down the street outside the bar afterward. The conga halfway down Halsted after the 98 final with people spilling out of the Shammy was at the same time both the oddest and most fun moment in my life at the time.
I seem to remember going to Ginger's once and it was packed with Packer fans. Are they a GBP hang out ? Do GBP have a game Sunday ? (PS I left Gingers that day and went elsewhere to catch some footy). Let's hoping it will not be an issue.

Ye gods.... I thought Deacon Brodie's over on Halsted is the traditional Packers/ Wisconsin hangout. Was there one frozen December night. I would think that if there was a Bearzzzzzz game, it would be shown up front, near the entrance, where as we Fire fans would get the party room, and maybe the middle section.

Where do you guys get this crap from? I'm a regular at Ginger's and a Packer joint it ain't. Maybe someone may have hosted a party that day but it ain't a Packer joint and furthermore there are a few Premier matches on that day and thos matches will be shown. Ginger's is not only a true Sports bar with a strong emphasis on the football but the owner is also a Diehard Everton supporter (Ginger's is home to the first Everton Supporter's club in North America) and he's at most Fire matches in Section 8. They'll show anything on the tube for anyone and they will definitely show this match in the back main room, which is normally used for special events -- they have the big screen in this room with a bar and they'll also show it in the adjacent room. Go the website for more info but please don't even spread a hearsay about their showing this match. They're definitely showing it and it's a good size place and will accommodate a large amount of Fire fans. See you there Sunday

i actually was thinking about that!! a couple weeks ago, when i read that you and your wife were going. i'm not exactly sure what my plan is for that day, i may have to work immediately after the game. but if i didn't have to work that day i would definitely chill with the 2 coolest kids i know.
