Nathan Ake is also expected for a big move at the end of this campagin regardless of bournemouth continuing to struggle at the bottom end. Chelsea are showing concrete intrest in in him with kurt zouma expected to be departing.the other advantage of signing him for lampard will mean increasing the quota for homegrown players. He has been a standout player for cherries.

On the other hand I will be very disappointed if bournemouth gets relegated. Hopefully if this happens Groeveneld also finds a new club.

De Ligt with a headed goal today... sneaky, taking advantage of a loose defending from a short corner. Second best player on the pitch, rating-wise (whoscored), only behind C. Ronaldo.

A string of fine performances by De Ligt after the league resumed... encouraging sign that he’s settling down just fine. Not coincidentally, the rumor of him going to be this summer has practically quieted down.

Stef De Vrij with a headed goal today.... equalized the game, and Inter went to win it late.

Both De Ligt and De Vrij are having pretty decent season. FWIW - statistically, both players are comparable... De Vrij is slightly better, probably by virtue of being a steady and regular option for Inter (while De Ligt is enduring a roller-coaster season in his first year in Italy).

De Ligt could have the bragging right by bringing home the league trophy. Juve is sitting quite comfortably on top, with ten matches to go.

    According to whoscored:

    De Vrij
    24 apps (+2 subs)
    2221 minutes
    3 goals, 3 assists
    3 YC's
    91.6% passing completion
    Rating: 6.98

    De Ligt
    19 apps (+3 subs)
    1830 minutes
    3 goals, 0 assists
    4 YC's
    89.5% passing completion
    Rating: 6.83

De Ligt didn't play today (suspension), and Juve's defense was torn apart... conceding 4 goals to AC Milan ;)

I watched the 2nd half. The MF were defensively inept down the stretch exposing the back line to a lot of pressure. I'm not sure that de Light would have made a difference.

Any one thinks its time for koeman to give Hateboer the nod or is he simply only good in wing back formation. Must say he did good job against Ronaldo vs Juventus. Atalanta has been the most inform team after the lockdown.

Ake suffered an injury, and looks like he will miss the rest of the season. Not a good sign for Bournemouth as they are locked in the relegation zone (3 points behind the next safe team). Though... this could be a blessing in disguise for Ake?:rolleyes: Bournemouth relegated means that they will likely sell Ake to compensate some of the financial losses. Maybe Danjuma Groeneveld, too - although he hasn't been particularly good (or healthy) this season, one may wonder if there's a market for him.

  10. Quote from another (German) thread:
Ger90: Gosens picked up 2 assists in a 6-2 win.

takes his tally for a LB/LWB at
9 goals and 8 assists in 29 Serie A games.

5 games to go still time to score double digits goals and double digits assists, lol
    .[/QUOTE]

    Wonder where he learned that;)
    Koeman must cap him asap.

Looks like De Ligt recovered from him shoulder injury. Played and netted a goal today, though Juve lost and failed to clinch the title. De Ligt was the highest-rated player on Juve side according to “whoscored” (didn’t watch the game).

Could somebody please tell me why Koeman hasnt called up Robin Gosens yet?? He's having an excellent season with ATL

  16. He has been called up by Löw for a Mannschaft match, but corona interrupted his debut for Germany. Koeman should have reacted when I long ago told RG should be capped before the Germans woke up.

We were his first choice so there was nothing Koeman could have done except for getting him when Löw 100% told him he wasnt good enough. Dunno though if you want a LB the Duitsers think isnt good enough for them.

  18. We do, especially if he scores a goal against die Mannschaft:)

Mitchel bakker development looks to be on course at PSG. Already a winner after PSG won the Coupe de France defeating St Ethiene 1-0. Played full 90 after getting the nod ahead of kurzawa and brenet who are both struggling with fitness.

If he continues to get minutes at PSG, I dont see why he shouldnt be called up by koeman. Him and wijndal should be the way foward given the hector schedule coming up ahead. Rotate both and im sure by euros there will a good depth in that LB position. Time to move away from Blind. There is a need to fast track things in NT and the this is time to do it.Nations league, World cup qualifers and Friendlys. A call for bakker will also help him fast track his authority for starting spot given kurzawa and brenet are often injured and often feature for france and spain respectively.

Your arrogant team is one big foreign legion thanks to the change of the nationality/naturalization laws in the early 2000s.

Impoverish the rest of the world and europe, steal the best workers and immigrants.

Ziyech first choice was Netherlands but he wasn't called up,so he chose Morocco.
Dest probably would never heve been a first choice for Netherlands.
Gosens prefers germany, i think; but if Netherlands calls him first,he wouldn' t decline.

Dest not a first choice? How so? You think Dumfries is better? We have good right backs already?

Sadly we are losing too many options because they have better chances for success elsewhere, or it is commercially more interesting elsewhere.
