  2. Of that list only three are really contenders.
    Haaland, Davies and Fati

Is something wrong? It is impossible to quote parts of a post as it used to be case.
The only way now is to click the quote button and delete the parts you donot need.

Agreed although Sancho and Camavinga are also ballers. The two Dutch and Dest are unfortunately not on the level of those five.

Bakker was right back in action for PSG after the international. Was in mix of things as PSG made a good meal of 10 men Nimes. Have to say he has a bit of Blind sydrome though, when his momentum dies, its back pass. If he can improve in this area , going around his marker, he can become a top LB. Defensively he is there. Offensively he needs to upgrade.

Will be starting again in mid week vs United. CL

    Van Dijk off injured.

Horrible challenge by Pickford (Pickfraud). How is that not a penalty and red card? It was marginally offside, but that doesn't give an excuse to just saw someone's ligaments off...

Alas, Pickford is the number one England keeper...

That was absolute disgrace. Disgusting tackle. No brainer red card. I hope Virgil came out okay, it didn’t look good at all.

Typical protection of English national team players by other Englishman.

The same bias as with the racism incidents of recent decades in the PL. And the narrative by their media of diving foreigners.

    Disgusting.

Dutch VAR would have immediately notified the CR for a review. That is a RED card every day of the week!

vDijk left the game injured today. Could be out many weeks.
At least he walked off though

Guess he walked off the pitch but was later on crutches leaving. Have a bad feeling he could be out for a long time. Have a feeling Liverpool will crumble without him. Gomez and Matip are pretty bad CB

We will find out next Wednesday when they travel to Amsterdam to take on Ajax. They are also missing Alison who is their top keeper. The question is whether Ajax can score.

Van Dijk with an ACL injury. Out 7 to 8 months. Just terrible news. Pickford is a piece of shit

And Prickford gets away with it? Joke of a country. What a joke.

8 months out for Virgil is probably the worst case. I think Memphis (seems to be a rare/extreme case) was back to action within 5 months after ACL injury? Still though... even if you take the middle ground, say 6-7 months, that would make Virgil racing furiously for fitness for Euro 20/21 (starting in mid June). Let’s wait until the swelling gone down, and hopefully the scan will reveal something better!!

Crosspost: Former number one goalkeeper shields the current number one:

Former England goalkeeper Rob Green on Radio 5 Live: "Jordan Pickford was out on control and he tried to do the Peter Schmeichel 'starfish' jump. He has wrapped his legs around Virgil van Dijk and it looks really bad. His eyes are only on the ball but it looks worse rather than any intent on causing harm to Van Dijk."

    'Starfish jump'. Right.

  21. Remember how Kevin de Bruijne was kicked out in the match against the Totally Hotshits without even a foul given? Their referees are a joke, and their VAR is even worse.

Ridiculous diffidence towards seniority and authority in that country. That is half of the problem.

The PL should ban him for a few games. Like they did with Suarez.

I will be amazed if that happens.
