One name to cross off from the Oranje attacking list… Joel Piroe. He has decided to represent Suriname. Not a loss at all, I think Oranje can do better than him!

Donyell Malen is joining AS Roma on a loan to improve his chances of making the Oranje squad to the World Cup this summer.

Interestingly enough, Dutch players in Roma as of late has run into challenging times, injury-wise. Strootman, Karsdorp, J. Kluivert, Wijnaldum, Rensch... hmmm :rolleyes:

I like him more than Malen to be honest.

I prefer Frimpong than Malen. If needed we can have Gakpo and Lang on the left while Frimpong and Xavi on the right (opening a spot for a young midfielders instead, Kees Smit, Valente).

Brobbey has played well at promoted Sunderland who have been outstanding this season, and are currently in the top half of the Premier League.
Brobbey’s hold up, and combination play is excellent, and he’s scored some good goals despite not getting a lot of chances.
Oranje Striker role is a total unknown despite only 5 months before the start of the World Cup in America, Canada, and Mexico.
Memphis will be there despite fitness issues and his contract situation in Brazil.
I believe Brobbey is definitely ahead of Zirkzee who is buried at ManUnited, and strongly linked for a loan move ironically to Roma who themselves have just signed Donyell Malen from Aston Villa.
Weghorst is injured, useless, and just not good enough, and I pray that Koeman opens his eyes to see just that and leaves him home.
Emegha with his 1 cap is currently injured at Strasbourg, and will likely need to pick up his production to solidify his position especially with the March Friendly matches not far away.
Meerdink who has been injured with a thigh problem since pulling out of the last, and what was his first Dutch call up sadly for me is out of the picture currently because of this injury.

Your comment is spot on — all the attackers have had an average season so far. In addition to the list you have above, we also dip in form of several other attackers:
_ Gakpo: the most reliable winger is now dropping his form
_ Lang: really does nothing at Napoli and will be shipped out even after Napoli lost other wingers due to injury
_ Poku: he was hot and now after the injury, he is not that great anymore
_ Kluivert: not in the starting XI this season and now injured
    _ Xavi: average season
_ Summerville: up and down, inconsistent form
_ Piroe: not EPL quality, switch allegiance

Solid debut for Malen. Started the game and scored the opening goal for Roma. Had another goal ruled out shortly before that due to a very close offside call. Also had another shot of goal that was nicely saved by the GK foot.

    Rensch assisted Roma’s second goal.

Van Persie came back from injury and scored two insane goals, a back heel and a volley. Feyenoord still lost the game though.

Lots of problems at Feyenoord who sit in second place despite defensive issues, injuries, and Manager Robin Van Persie.
Looks like Q Timber is completely done with the Manager, and certainly Van Persie is done with Q after post match interviews today.

Gakpo played well yesterday, and to be fair he’s really had almost zero support or connection as the Liverpool Leftback Kerkez has been utter shite, and I watch every match.
For some bizarre reason he’s taking some abuse from the nonsensical social media trolls who have zero clue about football.
In truth he’s been much better than most at Liverpool this season, but again some on social media says otherwise.
The rest of your list has not been anything special for the most part.
Xavi at Spurs is more of a club problem as the team, and its dysfunctional supporters have made home matches a particular disaster.
Xavi has been up and down, but he’s certainly one of the club’s better creative players.
Side note on Spurs is Micky Van de Ven had a go at some supporters recently, and he’s been linked with a possible move out of the club.
    Huge, athletic talent Micky is.
Lang disappointing and has had problems with the angry “bald” Conte is no surprise.
Kluivert injury plagued this season has dropped off from last season’s excellent performance.
Poku started the season well and it does not surprise me at that his form has dropped as he’s very young and inexperienced.
Summerville is a talent and has played well recently at West Ham that lacks severely in quality.
Piroe no shot with Oranje made the switch to Suriname with the Playoffs looming in March.
I’m personally hoping other “Dutch” decide to naturalize to aid Suriname’s quest for World Cup Qualification in March.

I was done with Timber at the start of the season and I think he plays a disruptive/devicive role in the team process, due to his yes/no signing an extension.
I already at the start of the season posted he signs or he's benched/moved to the reserves.

I don’t really rate Q and have said this before, but this situation has really not helped the player or the Manager.
Apparently Timber is headed to Marseille while Van Persie stays on because the Board of Feyenoord has no backup plan, and this Manager is the choice of Te Kloese who’s certainly made several mistakes of his own.

Gakpo came off the bench and scored a nice goal in the injury time, cooly assisted by Gravenberch. So far this season Gakpo has 6 goals and 4 assists (still long way from his tally last season of 18 and 6) -- but he's been getting regular minutes and doing just fine. This past weekend, he earned a penalty, that Szoboszlai missed.

Frimpong also did well, torching his marker with speed. His low cross turned to an own-goal by the opponent's GK.

Noa Lang to Galatasaray on loan… good move for him, I suppose, as he struggled to get minutes with Napoli.

Brobbey scored again this weekend. His fifth goal of the season... his second in a row. He's making himself relevant again and could very well be in contention for a spot in the World Cup squad.

Summerville seems to be settling... he also scored today. He has now scored in three consecutive matches for West Ham.

I like Lang but unless he plays regularly at Gatalasary and finds his form; if not Koeman should give Summerville a chance, at least a call up to see what he can offer.
Emegha and Brobbey looks much better than Weghorst.
